This thing sounds really great, and the bass was much better than expected. I'm in an apartment and specifically didn't want a subwoofer and with this, you don't need one.

I upgraded my soundbar all the way from Bose to Sonos. This soundbar is perfect for small to medium sized rooms and is easy to set up with the Sonos app.

The sound is great. Also like that it is not as long as most other bars.

It sounds so much better than you’d think a soundbar this shape and size could sound. One time when watching a movie, I thought a sound was coming from outside! But it was coming from this speaker sitting right in front of me. When I was shopping, I went to the Best Buy store and was listening to the Sonos Beam and other soundbars, and this one sounded the best even though it doesn’t have vertical-firing speakers. I’m so glad I chose this one and didn’t let the listed specifications deter me.

We purchased the Sonos Beam for our bedroom and couldn't be more pleased. It was easy to setup and makes our evening programs much more enjoyable. Our bedroom tv is a 40+ inch Samsung from 2008! The picture is still great however we were having difficulty hearing the dialog. This has made such an improvement! Although the Sonos would not pair with our Samsung remote since the TV is so old, it did sync with our Fire TV remote. Now, we use that remote for volume control. We are so pleased with this Sonos that we are considering purchasing the Sonos Arc for our family room 65" TV.

The Sonos Beam is a great speaker. While not as powerful as the Sonos Arc, this speaker still fills the room and sounds great. This is a more affordable option for those looking for crystal clear sounds on in the Sonos ecosystem.

Excellent soundbar. Big improvement over older soundbar that we were using. Dialog is much clearer. Easy to set up.Sonos-

Decided to go full Sonos in my home. This replaced a definitive technology studio slim that I was pretty happy with sound wise, but really disappointed with spatially. Even without the surrounds this has far better spatial audio than the DT. I also like the better mid range and generally more full sound. Wish I would have gone this direction in the first place.

It's very easy to set up and dramatically improved our audio for the TV.

I already purchased the first generation Beam last year for my bedroom and picked this one up because of the ATMOS and improved voice clarity. I'm not 100% sure that I'm getting the ATMOS experience but the improved voice clarity was immediately noticeable and provides an overall better audio. I'm waiting on a Sonos Arc for the living room and once I see how the ATMOS is with that, I'll come and update my review on it for this. Either way, if you have the first gen, I don't feel like it's super necessary to upgrade but you would be happy if you did. I have these paired with some Sonos One SL for surround sound.

Really great sound. Atmos is a great feature if you can use it, but most of my streamers don't support it. But the dialogue sounds better and easier to hear.
