Had it in a shelf at forst and was ok, however have since mounted it on the wall and now i can really hear the difference. Love that you can buy add on speakers seperatly.

The ERA 100 has better overall sound for music but I really like the beam for movies. Try to use both Era 100s with the beam plugged in with the ARC connection and you’ll have about a .75 ms latency you can’t do much about. I turn the Eras up and the Beam down with the app and the combo works well for movies.

Like all Sonos speakers, it's incredibly easy to set up, offers endless customization and sounds amazing. I have this in my office with the mini sub and a pair of One's for surround sound and it sounds just as good as a much more expensive system. The Dolby Atmos is incredible, voices are clear and it excels at playing music as well. I've had Bose and Sony sound systems and Sonos is top dog for me.

Amazing sound quality! No Bluetooth though.

great spatial audio

This replaced a definitive technology studio slim that I was pretty happy with sound wise, but really disappointed with spatially. Even without the surrounds this has far better spatial audio than the DT. I also like the better mid range and generally more full sound. Wish I would have gone this direction in the first place.
