    Avoid Sonos: Trying to get support for an arguably buggy system is like winning the lottery. Live Chat always responds with "No Live Chat Representatives Available" (when trying to chat during the alloted time). There is no email. The Bot Chat function is less intelligent then a Eufy floor vacuum, and my many attempts at calling their 800 number have always had a minimum of a 45 mintute hold time. I can't recommend the products as they're dependent on the Sonos app, and the app is buggy. (Check out Reddit about this).

    I was not happy with the sound quality. In fairness to the product I had it in a very large room. I returned the item.

    Not able to connect WiFi. Working through app and hdmi cable . Seems to be Bluetooth option not there

    Sounded great in store but less so at home. If you do not have an iphone you will not be able to set up sound for your space correctly. Price was OK, but not great.

    Incredible waste of money. Worked for about 4 months and now a total brick. Call customer service and be put on a 60+ min hold before you can even talk to anyone. They updated software for the app without proper testing and their customers pay the price . Do not by Sonos. I literally have $1000 of sound equipment and none of it now works.

    Review is against Best Buy, not the speaker. Horrendous customer service. I ordered this speaker open box in excellent condition, and instead received the Sonos Ray, covered in grease. I spent hours on the phone trying to get various agents to coordinate the exchange. After several failed promises, mistakes, and experiences with unprofessionalism, weeks later I am still left soundbar-less. One agent tried to provide me with a gift card as consolation for the frustration and for the waste of time, but this request had supposedly been rejected by his supervisor. If you wanted to try to speak to a staff member at a store, you are no longer able to over the phone. I’ve left one or two bad reviews in my entire life, and felt that this experience warranted going out of my way to do so. I heard great things about this product! Save your time and buy it either in person, or from someone who’s reliable.

    I have yet to hear this sound bar because I can't hook it up to my new TV, purchased at the same time. It's therefore hard to give it a rating.

    I connected via HDMI via ARC to a Samsung TV. The next day the unit emitted a VERY LOUD full volume machine gun type sound. I had to shut the unit off to get it to stop! It scared everyone including my dog. I contacted Sonos and they wanted like gee we have never heard of this? So I googled the issue and it is apparently common yet Sonos' response is duh we don't know? They want you to get a video of it and don't shut it dow so that you can get a diagnostic report? I don't know how you can do this since I truly believe this LOUD noise is harmful to your hearing! Surely they know this yet they act like it is something unknown BUT IT IS NOT. It has now happened 3 times. Ready to return it to Best Buy.

      Hi, and thank you for taking the time to write a review. You're indeed correct that there were known issues with Samsung tv's specifically. However, we have released software updates to fix those problems as well as Samsung because some of the issues were on their end as well. We assume any broad issues with Samsung Tv's have been addressed. This specific issue is not something we are aware of but hope to collect as much data as possible to 1) see if it is something we can fix on our end. 2) compile it to see if it becomes a larger issue or if it's just a one-off problem. That's why we asked for a diagnostic and data collection. We're very sorry for your experience with the Sonos Arc. We know this was a inconvenience and never set out for that to be the case. john.milton

    I was using my Play 5 with my tv for years. I “upgraded” to this soundbar and the quality of sound is not just inferior to my Play 5 speakers, but also my Play 1s.
