I purchased this item during the Black Friday sale. I wanted to add dolby atmos to my sonos 5.0 system and I couldn't be happier. The living room in my home is small and while I did consider getting the sonis arc this made more sense for the size of my home (next home arc). Obviously without the upfiring speakers it isnt the same but the virtualization works well enough, im not an audiophile. The overall sound upgrades over the gen 1 made this a worthwhile purchase and I'd recommend for folks who have relatively small living rooms.

Great sound.For a soundbar that has a small appearance this Sonos has a big sound.

The sound and size is wonderful, but after a couple weeks it just disconnected from the tv for no reason at all. After wasting my time on two days of research and futile attempts to reconnect, it’s going back to the store. Do yourself a favor — google all the incompatibility problems with Samsung and even new Sony tvs before you buy. I never once had a problem with Yamaha on this tv or any other soundbar on my other tvs.. Sonos is the problem.

My Bose soundbar died, so I went to BB and talked with Brad Chichester in the Parker store. He suggested the Beam2. I liked it so much I went back for seconds!

No issues with the item itself. Was just disappointed that after purchasing an open box unit $418 plus tax.......... It goes on sale brand new less than two weeks later. The only option that I given was to return it and swap it out for a new one, But then i'd have to deal with all the connectivity all over again. I think all things being fair. They should have given me a percentage back to keep my cost on an open box unit under the price of new given than it was within the 15 day window of their return policy. Ill just stick to offer up I guess next time.

Horrible product. Don’t buy. Wanting to watch a movie? You can’t! The speaker WON’T WORK because it needs to update. FOR NO REASON!!!! It worked before the update. Now it doesn’t. Can’t detect wifi. Can’t detect HDMI. Sonos should be banned from store shelves. Furious customer.

Does not recognize my wifi. And no I quadruple checked reset router, changed the password, reset Sonos, and everything, this thing will not recognize my wifi and connect. It's 2025 people, forget this waste of time device absolute trash and bestbuy customer service is trash.

Excellent product and great for my small apartment. It was a bit difficult to setup at first, especially having one of my devices connected wired. I had to by a switch box so that my network could connect to it. I took away one star for this reason.

Have multiple sonos and sonance products throughtout my house, even in my office at work. This was an aamazing addition for my bedroom.

This Sonos Beam Gen 2 blew me away! I had been looking to replace an older Bose system and when I went down to my local Best Buy to give it a listen on Black Friday I was instantly convinced that I needed it. I bought 2 of them and paired them with 4 One SL's and now I have a great system both upstairs and downstairs. Now all I need is a couple of subs and my systems will be complete. Sonos is every bit as good as Bose and for the money you can't go wrong. Highly recommend
