    Set up is hard

    Setting this up was a pain. When we finally did, there were a few apps on the TV that wouldn’t play sounds. The HDMI cable never worked and kept getting errors that a different HDMI was interfeering, which was not true. Had to use the “no HDMI” option. Sound is okay, but the lack of remote sucks! You must use your phone to change the volume. Exchanging for a different one.

      We're very sorry you had a rough time with the set up process. Sometimes there are some additional settings on the tv that have to be tampered with to make sure it's putting out the proper codec. As far as the remote, we don't include one because you can use the remote your already using with your tv! We walk you through the remote pairing process during set up or you could have gone back to add it anytime under room settings. We just have you press the volume and mute buttons a couple of times and that's it. You're set up using the remote you're already using. john.milton

    No Bluetooth. How do you buy something these days that's not Bluetooth compatible? And to not be told that it's not Bluetooth compatible. Wish I I realized it before the return date has passed.

    Get yourself three compact speakers like the Bowers & Wilkins M1 and a good Denon sound processor instead of this soundbar. It is okay but the treble is not accurate; the surround effect is also just okay. Dedicated three compact speakers and a good Denon Atmos receiver will knock your socks off compared to this product. Not recommended

    No bass as expected. Treble was not as clear as I’d like it to be. Kind of disappointed.

    Nothing is working properly. The TVs are not synced And do not turn on properly. No Wi-Fi service now

    After reading all 5 star reviews, decided to purchase a Sonos Beam Gen2. The sound is not that great, I would say is just ok, definitely not as good as described in the 5 star reviews. Watched NBA game followed by watching an action movie and I'm not impressed at all. When watching the movie, sound is rather flat...Hopefully arc will be a much better experience...this one is going back to the store

      Hi and thank you for your review. Hopefully you haven't returned it yet, as it sounding flat is more than likely caused by the tv not sending out the correct audio codec to Beam. We can almost guarantee it! That's as simple as going into the audio settings and changing it to a better audio codec to fix.     I did not like the sound quality. It was difficult for me to set up without assistance. I returned the speaker.

    Not Happy with Sonos or Best Buy

    Surround sound would not work. Found out after Best Buy drilled holes in my walls. Had to turn on the tv then hook up the Sonia beam every time we turned in the TV. Miserable experience all the way around. Like the Sonos Move. Returned everything else.

    I dont know whats so special about this. Too expensive and nothing impressive. I had better soundbars for less with better sound quality. Im ready to return it

    This sound bar has not performed to the level I have come to expect from this product based on the insight oif the salesman and the device's supposed features. The sound is the majorfeature that I sought to be impressed with and I'm not impressed. Plus it looks tacky.

    Connecting the sound to the tv is not very simple. If you read some other reviews this can be common and a pain to deal with during set up. Not worth the work for me.

    Not reliable. The wireless transmission quits frequently and won’t restart even with Geek squad and Sonos technical support. Then 3 days later it will restart. Surround system speakers are not very loud compared to bar.

    Very disappointed in this product, which despite my best efforts will not play any audio at all on my Samsung smart TV. It did hook up with my Alexa system, and will play music-but this product was purchased to enhance TV audio, specifically Dolby Atmos-and that has been nothing but an utter failure.

We would recommend reaching out to us at sonos.com/support or Samsung as it may be an issue on the tv's end.
