We purchased the Sonos Beam for our bedroom and couldn't be more pleased. It was easy to setup and makes our evening programs much more enjoyable. Our bedroom tv is a 40+ inch Samsung from 2008! The picture is still great however we were having difficulty hearing the dialog. This has made such an improvement! Although the Sonos would not pair with our Samsung remote since the TV is so old, it did sync with our Fire TV remote. Now, we use that remote for volume control. We are so pleased with this Sonos that we are considering purchasing the Sonos Arc for our family room 65" TV.

Great sound bar that is easy to set up and is more than enough sound for my apartment

We nearly passed on this due to its price point. Also, bear in mind it's eARC. If your TV or projector lacks that output you'll need an adapter such as the 4K Arcana 18Gbps from HD Fury. The Beam Gen2 produces absolutely amazing theater sound quality. Ours is ceiling mounted and angled down using the Epson V12H808001 approximately 10 feet from our favorite seating position. Volume, speech and base quality are mind blowing, producing fantastic surround sound effects without additional speakers. We would buy it again, even for the same price. If it were any pricier we would not.

I already purchased the first generation Beam last year for my bedroom and picked this one up because of the ATMOS and improved voice clarity. I'm not 100% sure that I'm getting the ATMOS experience but the improved voice clarity was immediately noticeable and provides an overall better audio. I'm waiting on a Sonos Arc for the living room and once I see how the ATMOS is with that, I'll come and update my review on it for this. Either way, if you have the first gen, I don't feel like it's super necessary to upgrade but you would be happy if you did. I have these paired with some Sonos One SL for surround sound.

Clarity, look, compactness makes this a great option for lots of people.

It sounds so much better than you’d think a soundbar this shape and size could sound. One time when watching a movie, I thought a sound was coming from outside! But it was coming from this speaker sitting right in front of me. When I was shopping, I went to the Best Buy store and was listening to the Sonos Beam and other soundbars, and this one sounded the best even though it doesn’t have vertical-firing speakers. I’m so glad I chose this one and didn’t let the listed specifications deter me.

Great surround for movies sounds great for music as well. The ERA 100 has better overall sound for music but I really like the beam for movies. Try to use both Era 100s with the beam plugged in with the ARC connection and you’ll have about a .75 ms latency you can’t do much about. I turn the Eras up and the Beam down with the app and the combo works well for movies.

Really great sound. Atmos is a great feature if you can use it, but most of my streamers don't support it. But the dialogue sounds better and easier to hear.

The sound quality is amazing i love the way it sounds

Easy to use, great sound for what it is. Very convenient little speaker. Just remember, you are overpaying for ease of use and convenience with any Sonos product.

Sound quality is really good. Good on bass frequencies and mids. But really wish it even worked with Bluetooth. Keep in mind this works well only with Apple devices.

Most amazing sound bar for the price. Small and fills up the room imhard of hearing and its crisp and loud without having the volume up high.
