Get with the times and utilize bluetooth
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The speaker sounds very good. I cannot believe Sonos does not use bluetooth (only wifi) and this is disappointing. Having to use the Sonos app rather than simply bluetoothing to the speaker to play music is annoying and the app is very clunky and for some reason does not like to play certain songs or stations.

If you are in the store trying to decide
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You are in the store trying to decide which system to spend good money on, the best bang for the buck. Sorry, this isn't that type of set up. So what is good about the Sonos beam Gen 2 with the Mini-sub and 2 Sonos One SLs. 1. Easy to set-up 2. Crisp clean sounds 3. Flawless connection to the TV, no checking for input settings. 4. Sub-Mini has no rattle and the bass is unique, Very rich but not boomie. 5. The app makes it great to control and operate. 6. Great build quality, You get what you pay for. 7. Wide and dynamic sound ( soundstage) 8. Zero distortion even when the volume is at max What is bad about the system. 1. Loud but not loud enough when you step away from the area. 2. Atmos is not really present 3. Expensive system when you put it all together. 4. its not going to shake the house for the price you pay. 5. The Beam by itself is only good for a small area, Do not buy if it is going in a open concept space.

Great sound bar with below par app
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sonos beam is a great soundbar. It looks good and sounds amazing. Easy to setup but unfortunately the app can be a bit laggy. The app allows to control volume but also change EQ settings. The feature i used the most is voice booster to hear people talk in movies. Highly recommend for around $350

Great sound and quality for the price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sonos Beam gen 2 is a perfect fit for my small family room, about 300 sq ft. It’s small, packs a punch (even without a dedicated subwoofer), it does a fair job emulating Dolby Atmos, and it doesn’t cost thousands of dollars. I highly recommend it and when you get it, please do not judge it after a plug and play. You must run the calibration from the iOS app. It is impressive how it adjusts to create a perfect sound based on the room dynamics. I only wish it had its own remote so I don’t have to do it from the phone, but is not a big deal.

Its Good!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sounds decent for bedrooms or a patio area. For sure needs to be bought with to play with a sonos sub or ceiling speakers to spread bass and treble in my opinion. Other then that yes a good quality sound bar

Great soundbar
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall this is a solid soundbar for it's size. I am happy with it's range of sound and I have had no issues with connectivity. I currently have the sound bar and mini sub paired with earc control. Setup was easy but I did have to update firmware on each device which took around 20 minutes all around. While it is a bit too pricey in my opinion, I would buy it again.

Sonos Sound Bar
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This soundbar is excellent and really transforms the sound quality for movies. My only criticism is that it would be nice to have a remote still, so that my family could operate it easily when they pet sit/house watch. They barely know how to navigate to Netflix so getting them to download the app is a struggle.

Beautiful Soundbar/Depends on Room
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a beautiful soundbar as soundbars go. Setup and integration was a snap. You definitely need the subwoofer to feel the bass. It make a huge difference (the mini was fine for my purposes). The sound and vocals are crisp and clear. The app is fairly easy to set up and use and allows for a fair amount of customization of the sound. For the room I had this in (a kitchen) I was disappointed with the surround sound and Dolby Atmos sound. I even used the iphone app to customize it for the room. I replaced it with the Bose 600 and 500 bass module. I could hear the difference. Bose is providing a wider sound stage for me. I have found the Bose app and the connection to the TV a bit wonky, troubles I did not have with the Sonos. I do recommend the Sonos, but you need to listen to it in your room.

Beam sound bar
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sound is very comparable to a Bose sound system. My only gripe is the volume goes down to nothing when you pause a show for 10-15 minutes.

Nice Bar
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice bar. Clear sounds and has plenty of bass if needed. Clear sound and nice expanded sound if needed. We chose this one over the Bose. This unit does not have Bluetooth hookup but that's ok with us. You have to use the Sonos app to setup and adjust.

Works better than advertised
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for our bedroom. Paired it with a 55” Sony Bravia OLED. Setup was easy and their app is amazing. I really love the way you can buy the sound bar and then add other components afterwards without having to purchase everything at one time. Sound is awesome and ability to link it to other Sonos sound bars in my house is also a great feature. Can’t wait to upgrade to an Sonos Arc sound bar in my living room.

Meant to buy cheaper but the sound....
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have never had a soundbar before. I bought a new TV. My first TV purchase in 10 years. I have never cared for a fancy TV till I saw the OLEDs. I just love their picture. However, it then seemed silly to not have good soundbar for the TV. You can only have so much sound from a TV. I read about sound bars but nothing replaces going to the store and listening. I was going to buy LG or some 3 channel sound bar. Well I left with the Sonos Beam instead. I certainly paid more than I thought but the sound was amazing for the size. If you love a strong bass then maybe not for you. It is plenty for me. I loved the Arc a bit more but it is also quite a bit more and with Sonos you are going with a system. You can add on to it quite easily and link the sound system throughout your house. You can easily Airdrop and sync everything. I did not think I would care about it until I could do this. It does not have Atmos but it sends sound up still (not as well as the Arc but decent). The App works great and you use it to calibrate your room to your beam. This helps improve sound quality. I know because I forgot to do this first day. If you love an overpowering bass this is not for you. You can add one of their speakers that does this (not a cheap speaker). The Arc also has the bass. The sound is really quite wonderful for its low profile. I am happy with this purchase (even if I spent more than I intended) and will add more speakers in future as it is so easy to connect up and actually find their system to be nice bonus to listening room to room.

Rich sound. Visually elevated.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Loving it so far. Great sound for a medium sized living room. Also syncing with my Move 2 is so easy. Also love the white. It elevates the aesthetic and looks great below my Frame tv.

Sonos Rocks
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.after a few minutes of set up this beam is rocking. I love the ease of set up and how clear the sound is!!! I would certainly support this one especially paired with the mini sub and the two speakers.

Solid improvement
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Better than the original in many ways. It was easier to set up (the original wasn’t hard, but with NFC title his one is even easier) I can’t compare sound as I have it in a very different place than my original. But I do like the sound for both TV and streaming music. It holds its own to a sound bar system that had a wireless sub that it replaced. From my perspective, if you are going to spend the money on an Arc, you really should be looking at a discrete surround system. Otherwise the beam is all you likely need and it’s a lot less expensive
