Slick form factor that looks great as a sound bar on our entertainment center counter underneath a wall-mounted TV. Good sound quality and range , but not sufficient by itself for really deep pitches - would need a subwoofer for that. Intuitive to set up and to use with the Sonos app. Toggles nicely being streaming music and acting as the sound bar for TV viewing

Replace my Samsung system that was difficult to make out simple sounds. The sound on this is amazing. You can here every detail of whatever you are watching. I also love the Bluetooth and interconnect ability with Sonos.

Good sound, relative to the price and for being a soundbar (a sub and even surrounds would definitely be the full experience, but for $500 this is a great all-in-one). Looks good and blends into the room. And really easy to set up and interact with!

I love the design of this sound bar - it is compact and sleek (it fit perfectly on top of my small tv stand and did not hang over the sides). The sound bar also packed quite a punch considering how compact it is. However, I did not like how inconsistent the volume was across various platforms (i.e., devices and games). On one particular video game console, for example, I would have to play one game on a high volume and another game on a very low volume - this involved having to press the volume button on the remote more than 6 times in one direction and the same for the other. This discrepancy was not evident on my previous sound bar. The sound bar also does not indicate the volume number on the bar itself or on the television screen - so, this basically made adjusting the volume a guessing game and I’d find myself startled or underwhelmed when transitioning from one device/game to another. I previously loved having a numbered volume indicator because I knew how high or low I wanted the volume for each situation - for example, “9” on one game and “11” for another. Although you do get a volume indicator when using the Sonos app, it’s inconvenient that you have to boot up an app on your phone and look at your phone to see how high or low you have the volume. Even with the various settings on the sound bar and television adjusted, certain sounds were either too loud or too low and did not make sense within the context of the situation- in one game, for example, dialogue was very low but opening doors/dropping items was very loud; it just seemed unbalanced and the experience was not like that with my prior television/sound bar set up. I have since returned the sound bar and replaced it with one that is the same brand as the television - it has been a much better experience.

The second gen is a great alternative to the Arc for smaller rooms. The virtual sound algorithm gives a roomier feel of the sound overall. I have it paired with two ONE SLs in a 19'x17'x9' room and it is great! highly recommend, especially if you can get a good deal.

After a year of deliberation, I finally took the plunge and purchased the SONOS soundbar, and let me tell you, it’s been a game-changer. The sound quality is absolutely mind-blowing, delivering an immersive experience that rivals a movie theater. Setting it up was a breeze, and the ability to fine-tune it based on the room’s layout is a huge plus. And don’t even get me started on the Dolby sound effect for streaming services like Netflix – it’s like having a cinema right in my living room! I’m already planning to expand my setup with a couple of Era speakers to take the immersion to the next level. Trust me, this is an investment you won’t regret. Note: I got it for a 100$ discount offer and that’s a huge discount for a product like this.

Perfect budget friendly Soundbar when compared to the Arc. Airplay feature is great for when I want to play music or watch something on my iPad but listen to it through the speaker. Easy to install and set up and can add to existing Sonos home system. The app lets you tune your Soundbar to exactly what you need with ease.

The sound bar set up was very simple and quick. I like that it connects to the other Sonos speakers in the house when listening to music and podcasts. The sound is great and improves listening dramatically while watching the television.

Sonos is the best! The Beam is a fantastic soundbar for small to medium rooms. It is crystal clear and is easy to use and connect to other Sonos speakers. I have this connected to the mini sub and 2 Eros 100 speakers.
