I still want the subwoofer but it’s no longer a priority. Lost connection to my home network a couple times which was resolved by rebooting my router. I wish there was a reboot option on the bar itself to avoid rebooting my entire network. I have this paired with 2 Sonos Ones and this surround setup work fantastic.

Sound bar turns on and off

The TV sound would turn on and off on its own. It played music at first but even that would turn off automatically. I went to the Sonos online community and this is a common problem with this product. Its unfortunate because the set up was easy, the sound quality was good (when it worked) but after several days of trouble shooting and the impossible task of getting Sonos support to respond I returned it. In reading the online community there may be a recall problem with Sonos Beam or a technical recall on this product. I can't recommend this product as it just never worked and was very frustrating trying to troubleshoot this issue.

Posted .Hi, and thank you for your review. It sounds like there was an issue with the HDMI signal from the television interfering with the Beam. We work very hard to make sure that our products are compatible with all brands of television but do rely on those manufacturers to send the signals in a way that works with other products that are not their own. As far as your music cutting out, that may be the Beam trying to autoplay the tv sound because Beam is getting a random signal from the TV. We have specifically seen this issue with newer model Samsung tv's. If you have a Samsung, be advised that they are working on a software update that should be out shortly. Our products do not turn off, so if they are truly losing power randomly (light on top is off) then it could be a bad product, in which you could have one replaced under your warranty.
