We were in a market for a sound bar, and being that we already owned the Sonos one speaker (and love it), we decided to purchase the Sonos beam. We were happy that we were able to sync the two devices which really enhanced the sound. It was relatively easy to set up, though the only complaint is that the beam needs to be plugged into the tv with an HDMI cable (or you have the option to use the attachment, which it came with, to be able to convert to the digital output option). Being that we already have a fire stick and PS4 hooked up to the TV with limited spots, we had to use the digital output option which slightly altered the overall audio, but it wasn’t really noticeable. It says that it can sync with TV remotes however we found using the app on our phone to adjust the sound worked a lot better. With this option we were able to sync the beam and speaker and could adjust the volume of each speaker individually, or together, which is awesome. They have nighttime mode so the loud sound effects are dimmed, and a speech mode to enhance dialog which we liked a lot as well. The bass on this thing can get pretty heavy so if you like deep bass, then you’ll love this.

I’d been wanting a Sonos sound system for what seemed like ages and finally got one. The Sonos Beam is a great addition to any home theater (perhaps not a really large one, though). It sounds good, but if you have a larger room, you may want to look into the regular, more expensive sound bar instead. Otherwise, you can usually find some really good open box deals like I did! :)

I have 2 of these now and you can just feel the quality. Of course it won’t sound as good as the arc or soundbar, but look at the difference in price? This is Very sleek and is also a smart speaker. Sounds great and when linked up to the ones and the sub. It’s the BEST. I even have def tec and it doesn’t even sound close to my Sonos surround

Great Soundbar that is easy to set up. Lacks a bit in the bass department, but when paired with my Sonos Sub and two Play 5s for full surround sound it fits the bill perfectly. Sonos App and setup is very user friendly. Have a Playbase as well, but since I now have my tv mounted on a wall, I needed a new Soundbar to attach to the Tv instead. The Playbase definitely is a bit punchier, but takes up a lot more real estate in your room. Huge fan of Sonos products and quality! Definitely on the pricer side, but I’ve yet to have a single issue with any of their products I own.

I have this unit hooked up but did not enable Alexa or Google with it; instead I used an existing Sonos I have to control it and use it only for sound for TV/Xbox. The sound is fantastic and fills my room better than the Vizio sound bar I had before. Tried with it connected with my other Sonos speakers and found I do not need all that so just back to this for movies and games.

Love the beam and is always ready when you want it Alexa is sometimes slow probably they need an update on the software but still works great the sounds are very good and also has Bluetooth I like that I can connect my phone to listen to music too and I have a cuplé SL speakers and gives them a better sound for the system

In a way, this was a really frustrating purchase, because it's so close to being exactly what I wanted, but just barely falls short. To start, the speaker itself is tremendous. It easily fills my 10x20 living room with sound and is a huge upgrade on the speakers that came with the TV. I found the app fairly easy to use, although I wouldn't exactly call it super intuitive. The dialogue mode really helps at times, although there are some situations where you don't hear much of a difference. I also enjoy the night time mode as I like to play calming music through the speaker at night to relax my dogs. It's nice to be able to do that without waking up the whole house. The disappointment for me lays with the Alexa integration. Part of the reason I went with the Beam is that I wanted it to replace my Fire TV Cube so that I would have fewer wires showing and an cleaner all-around set-up. Mission Accomplished. What I did not expect was for the voice commands to act differently than other Alexa devices in the house. With the Fire TV Cube, I had things set up so that I could ask it to turn off the living room, and it would turn off two lamps. When I ask the Beam to turn off the living room, not only does it turn off the lamps, but it also turns off my television. Really annoying to try to turn off the living room lights to watch a movie at night, and then have to turn the TV back on. The Alexa-controlled LED strip lights on the back of my TV also stopped responding to voice commands entirely. I have an app to control them, so it's not the end of the world, but it's still disappointing. But other than that, it's great. I have a friend who bought a $700 sound bar around the same time I picked up the Beam, and he's jealous because he thinks the Beam sounds just as good. If you can tolerate the issues with voice commands, it's well worth the money.

Amazing how it can create the sense of surround sound with just a little unit Wish I had the sub to add more definition. But Sonos doesnt make a sub with a price as reasonable as the sound bar. But for most tv and movies you don’t miss the sub

I really love this sound bar. Great sound. Easy way to install. Love that it’s bluetooth. Fascinated with it having Alexa. Feels like I’m in a concert while listening to music. Amazing bass. Overall fell in love with this bar. For the price is the best.

It’s tough to review this product because the name Sonos simply speaks for itself. This little guy will light up your room with amazing sound and the setup is grandma friendly. It integrated perfectly with my television using HDMI-CEC! Paired with a subwoofer and a pair of rear Sonos Ones and we’ve brought the theater home to us!

This speaker has excellent sound quality. The size and shape fit perfectly alongside our TV. It has a sleek and modern appearance. It is convenient to use a phone to adjust volume remotely as well as adjust at the unit with a few taps. Set up was easy and we can add more equipment in the future. It is very pricey but we are happy with the performance.

Sounds amazing and in great condition for being an open box and being in “fair” condition.

I am a big fan on Sonos products. They are the perfect blend of great sound and easy to set-up/use. Yes they are more expensive than the other options but this is a totally different speaker. This is not 2.1. Think 5.1. That’s more speakers tucked away and you can tell the difference. Pair it with a sub (optional) and you’ll be blown away. Even w/o the sub, sounds fantastic.

I love this thing, the sound is amazing! I do regret not getting a Subwoofer, but I have to save up for the $700 Sonos one. I wish there was a cheaper sub. I do really enjoy this bar, Amazon integration is great, although I have been waiting for the Google Assistant integration. The app is pretty great, and I love being able to control my soundbar with my phone through wifi.

I love Sonos. The whole ecosystem is fantastic. The bean is a great addition as a sound bar for a small room. The sound quality is “good”. I do not have it paired with a sub in the room I use it in, but perhaps a sub would be a better experience. Alexa integration and the ability to control volume with a fire stick remote are great. If you use Sonos and Alexa, this is great.

I purchased Sonos Beam soundbar with subwoofer and 2 surround speakers with my Samsung smart TV. I upgraded to a Sonos Arc in my den because of the size of my Den and am using the Beam in a bedroom. I appreciate the ease of setup and quality of system. A definite improvement from my old home entertainment.

The Sonos Beam sounds absolutely amazing. Filled my living room and may not be necessary to get surround sound. Has a great feature to highlight the voices in movies so you don’t have to turn the volume up and down depending on the scene. All that great technology but it was so easy to set up. The instructions via the sonos app made set up and use sooo simple.

Was looking to get a sound bar with a compact footprint as my Bose covers the sensor on my TV. Otherwise happy with my Bose, I went to buy a smaller Bose. The BB associate showed me the Sonos and there was no comparison. It sounds great. And it works with Alexa. Very happy with it.
