Beautiful design and sound with my 2 play 1s. Sounds excellent playing music and movies. Saving up for the white playbase to get the full 5.1 surround sound. I strongly recommend this item. Great surround sound without the wires!

Love this sound bar. If we had a larger living room we probably would have gone with the arc, but listening to both of them at NFM, we really couldnt tell too much of a difference and decided to keep it a couple $$ cheaper.

I had debated adding a soundbar to my main TV for a long time. I had tried different soundbars in a variety of price ranges and they didn't seem to be that much better than the built-in speakers of my TV. Enter the Sonos Beam. The Beam was easy to set up and during installation, I also set up Alexa. Within less than 10 minutes I was asking Alexa for the weather and having the Beam take over as my main speaker. To say that I'm impressed would be an understatement. The Beam has incredible highs and lows, and I would swear that there's a subwoofer in there somewhere. It's actually so great that it has startled us many times by simulating a huge boom during movies. Every time I use the Beam I kick myself for not buying it sooner. I had tried a number of soundbars in the past and the Beam is an incredible sound for the price.

I bought this gift for my husband's birthday. We already have Sonos speakers throughout our home and this just adds additional great sound. Periodically, we have problems with Xfinity connection, but when there's great connection, the sound does not disappoint.

I also own a Sonos Playbar. For about half the price the Beam provides about half the power and all the ease of setup great highs and mid range sound and seemless integration with Alexa. To get the most out of this device pair it with two Play Ones and prepare to be fully satisfied.

The sound quality is great. Can hear all the dialogue clearly compared to the TV speakers. I can hear all the subtle background noice now. A bit pricey but well worth the money in my opinion. Very easy to set up. Very glad I purchased the Sonos.

I purchased the beam for my medium sized living room. The play bar would have been a bit too much. The beam is the perfect size and offers amazing sound quality. I paired the beam with a couple play 1 speakers for surround sound and I couldn’t be more pleased with the result.

The thing that stands out the most from this speaker beyond its ease of use setup is its sound and build quality. I have a large living room with high ceilings and I was worried I would need to return this and purchase the play bar or play base but I was pleasantly surprised by how much sound this sounder pumps out. More than enough for a large room. And surprisingly its sound stage is very wide given its medium size. If you have the money and don't need Alexa or Air Play 2 go with the play bar or play base but if money is tight trust me, this sound bar has plenty of sound and will make a great overall center/front left/right speaker for your surround sound system. Well worth $400 since I don't feel like I comprised on sound quality at all. And for those worried about it lacking Bass it can pump out the bass with ease. Its strong suit is dialogue while watching a movie or TV. Its crystal clear even with the speech enhancement mode off. Overall a great buy for $400.

I love all Sonos products but this sound bar is everything for my apartment living room tv! I bought it specifically because my neighbors below me, despite my efforts to solve their excessive tv noise through the floor, has solved all my problems! It not only blocks their tv noise, but the surround sound is amazing! I can’t believe I waited this long to get a sound bar, now I can’t go back to watching tv with the tv volume behind the tv. I will be purchasing one for my bedroom as well. I also hope my pettiness is paying off, now they can live with excessive noise and vibration through their ceiling! ;)

Omgg. If you’re overthinking the price like I was, thinking you can get something better at a cheaper price, I promise you this soundbar is worth every penny. I’ve never experienced sound like this.

Incredible sound from a small unit. As with all Sonos products, set up is a snap using your smartphone and the Sonos app. Highly recommend this item for small to medium rooms. For larger rooms, I use the Playbase, sub and 2 play ones. Incredible!!! Just get it!

Best sound bar for the size and sound. Sounds amazing with the 5.0 setup from Sonos. Waiting to get the sub as well. Only thing I will knock about it and its not the product's fault, but Google Assistant was promised by the EOY 18, however Sonos reneged and moved it to 2019.

To put a bit of context to this review here is my bedroom configuration: Sonos Beam + (2) Play 1 as stereo pair. It is fantastic! Easy to setup and the sound quality is crisp and deep enough without a subwoofer.

We have a regular Sonos speaker, so knew I liked the brand. The Beam was very easy to set up. It has great sound for tv shows as well as movies. First tried out the sound with the first Star Wars film. I was so happy with the quality of the sound. Would recommend highly.

Was very easy to setup. The self discovey tone while using the apple app to install the speaker was very cool. Sound out of this sound bar is great. Paired it with two sonos ones to vomplet a 4 point surround.

I bought this for a medium size family room and have it paired with Sonos One speakers. Surprisingly, everything sounds great! If you have limited space or don’t have a good AV receiver, this is a great setup.

The sonos beam combines quality with functionality. You will not get the same surround sound feel as you would get with multiple speakers but you will be impressed with how well it fills a room with only one. Amazon Alexa built in was an amazing feature to add, very pleased.

I have to admit. This sound bar sounds amazing. Movies sounds great. It is nice that Alexa is intergrated. My daughter can turn on whatever doing she wants. Despite that, have found multiple complaints regarding using arc and how clumsy it is with most TVs. I have a Samsung qled and every time I power it off then on it goes silient and has no sound from the tv. I have to open the Sonos app and select my tv from the browse tab to have the speakers fire up. This can be very annoying. I bought this speaker with the understanding I can turn on the tv using voice commands and turn on a show using voice commands. What good are above function if I have to get my phone and connect the tv audio to the speaker every time. If they fix this with a firmware update I will keep this. But if I can’t figure it out in the next 30 days I am returning this thing. Read on the internet. I am not the only one with this issue. It has been documented over and over with a lot of different tv.

This is a great sounder and Alexa works great with this particular speaker. Only complaint I have is that the range for a remote control does not reach quite far enough across my room, and the front has to be clear to pick up the remote.
