Where I was stunned is with the tinny sound quality. True play (no matter how many times I used it/where I scanned) made the Beam sound harshly bright with a very mid-heavy bottom end. The two band EQ couldn’t fix it and it sounds worse without true play, believe it or not. Definitely my last Sonos product.

Posted .Hi, and thank you for the feedback. We're very sorry you had a negative experience with Beam and our Trueplay tuning feature. We strive to play the most accurate sound out of our speakers for the environment of the room, and will always be looking to improve that experience. Sometimes this happens when not all updates are complete, or an IOS beta is being ran on a device. However, sometimes technology just doesn't cooperate and that's where we will look to get better! Thanks again!
