I was originally not given credit for my $30 gift card when i returned my Sonos beam to exchange for the LG meridian. But calling customer service got me the credit. The LG sounds very good and even comes with a woofer, & the whole system sounds better than my friends Samsung system.

I purchased the Sonos Soundbar and was not really happy with the sound quality or loudness you could achieve. I purchased the Beam to replace it and wow, what a difference. Off the chart sound quality. The only complaint is that I haven't had much success in getting it to work with homekit and Apple Play 2. But from a sound quality standpoint, kudos to Sonos.

Sonos is by far and away the best when it comes to sound and connectivity ease. I love this soundbar and the ability to link up to existing Sonos products and the Alexa function. If you want the best surround sound make sure you get the Sonos Sub, as it is a total game changer when you add the sub to this soundbar.

I paired this beam with two play 1’s in our new sunroom. It sounds much better than I thought it would, And google assistant is pretty cool, too. Our main living area has two play 3’s with a playbar and sub. Of course it can’t beat that combo. But it’s actually a little more crisp and clear. Probably because of the smaller room acoustics.

Pros - Very compact, takes up very little space. Easy to set up. "Night mode" is fantastic if you live in an apartment and don't want the loud sounds but still want to hear the dialogue. Cons - You must have an iPad or iPhone to set up Trueplay. There is no remote control, so you must install the Sonos app on your Android or Apple device to control the sound bar. "Speech enhancement" makes the dialogue a little louder, but it is not a huge difference.

Sonos is a great instrument for listening to music or programming from many different online resources such as Spotify or Pandora as well as connecting to the tc. The Beam is a great entry-level piece from Sono that gives superior sound quality of a man higher priced sound bars. While priced higher than other entry-level units this one connects to the internet and has Alexa and Google Voice capability. Easy to install and you can control it from your TV remote, phone or voice.

    Sonos Beam

My only beef with the Sonos Beam is the fact that it does not integrate with my existing Alexa system. The Alexa voice control works just fine, but you can't use a Sonos device in an Alexa multi-room music group, which is the main reason I purchased the Beam. I guess I am partly to blame for not knowing this but they really need to clarify this fact. As far as the sound quality of the Beam it is very good and would improved with the addition of a sub-woofer.

I use the sound bar with two Sonos 1 speakers. Together they produce good sound. Will need the sub woofer to complete the system.

For some reason all the Beams I've ever listened to at the Sonos display at Best Buy locations sound thin and tinny. But I'd tried them elsewhere and they sounded great so I gave it a try. It's not as full as the Playbar but it still sounds great and pairing it with a Sub really covers any weakness.

I purchased the beam to pair with two sonos ones and love the surround sound. This smaller soundbar really does produce high sound quality usually associated with much larger sound bars. I’m using this sonos set up in a large open concept living room but it still sounds great. The sound isn’t quite as full as I would like but exceeded expectations for this size of soundbar. If I splurge on the sonos subwoofer to pair along with it I know the system would be complete with a fuller sound. No regrets on this purchase though!

I have multiple Sonos devices - two Beam soundbars, one Playbar, a sub and multiple Play 1's. The Beam is a compact and robust soundbar with great clarity. I could do without the voice control but it seems like every device has it now. Sonos Beam is a great addition to any room or surround system.

The system hooked up easily to my Samsung TV. I like using Alexa to play YouTube music videos. It sounds great but looking forward to adding satellite speakers.
