Best sound bar
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great sound bar. It’s easy to set up and use. It’s for small to medium sized rooms. I have mine paired with a 50 inch tv. It has one hdmi connection and is controlled via app on your smartphone. Supports Alexa and Google assistant as well as a ton of music streaming apps. It connects using the wi fi network in your home and is able to stream music on its own with voice commands or streamed from your phone/tablet. You can also add other Sonos speakers to build a surround sound system piece by piece. They connect easily and work excellent. I have added two play 1 speakers for rear surround and will probably add the sub in the future.

Excellent Sound and Quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been very impressed with the Sonos Beam. The sound is amazing and crisp. I love the ability to turn on voice clarity and night mode. We stream all of our media content and the sound quality is excellent. The only drawback I see is the lack of a physical remote. That said, the mobile app is very user friendly and does a good job of replacing the remote. We have ours set up with the HDMI ARC so our TCL RokuTV remote controls the volume just fine. I did learn in the process not to connect the HDMI cable until the directions in the app tell you to. I had plugged mine in too early and the TV didn’t recognize the Sonos. That is a user error not a device error (for the TV or Sonos). The design is clean and compact. I’d does not overwhelm the space, nor does it attract attention from the decor of the room. So far, I’m glad I’ve made this purchase.

Great sound, easy setup, great Alexa integration.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm not an audio pro, but fairly critical consumer and music listener. The sound is "elegant" to me. Not boomy, but super clear and rich, even at a loud volume. The setup was easy. Most hard lifting was done my the SONOS app. The app provides more than expected, including tons of free SONOS radio stations and volume control. The Alexa voice integration was easy to setup and works well. I'm not using this with a TV, but its bar shape hides well on a high shelf. It's working so well I ordered another SONOS speaker to extend this one. NOTE: you cannot create a group with this speaker with other basic Alexa-only devices. That seems normal, other non-Alexa wifi devices show in app, but are "not compatible" in a speaker sound group.

Amazing soundbar in a compact package
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of this soundbar. This is the first Sonos product that I have bought, and was at first hesitant because of the lack of Bluetooth, as everything is done over Wifi. However, this soundbar has seamlessly integrated with my TV. The app is easy to use to get everything set up. There is support for many different services to stream directly to the soundbar. We mostly use Spotify. And now with Google Assitant support, this has effectively not only replaced my old soundbar, but also the Google Home Mini we had in our living room. The sound quality is amazing for the price. The bass isn't earth shattering, but it is probably the best of a standalone soundbar without a sub. It was worth every penny and I will be buying more Sonos products in the future.

Amazing Sound & Ultimate Convenience
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I live in a small apartment that I'm restricted in what I can do with hiding wires and didn't want the wires laying around from a traditional surround sound system which is what originally turned me on to Sonos. I tested the Beam out at a display and was blown away how good it sounded compared to my old soundbar. What had me sold is the ability to easily switch from streaming music to using it as the sound on my TV as well as the ability to pick up two more speakers for the surround sound experience without the wires. I was nervous about the lack of a bass I'd read about in other reviews but for my small living space, this is perfect! I can see how if you are in a larger space the bass could be lacking, but that's what the Sonos Sub is for.

SONOS all the way.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to set up and manage for the optimal sound tailored to your personal taste. This works well alone with your TV or with additional Sonos speakers to create a surround sound.

First no, then wow
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Looked at reviews and bought Sonos Beam and Bose soundbar to try both at home. First i thought Beam was shallow, but then the Bose was not much better for the much higher price. Put the beam back in and after a few weeks absolutely love it. Plus the Beam is true Alexa built in, not just compatible, so we moved the Echo box up to our bedroom. Have had no problems with Alexa - does everything it did on the Echo. The Beam was also amazingly easy to set up vs the Bose. We later added 2 Play:1 sonos speakers to fill the room even more for listening to music. Fantastic and is even a full surround sound system for movies. We are very pleased and in our case did not even need to add the Sonos base (which is the only one that works with Sonos speakers).

Solid expandable TV speaker system
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm not into voice assistants in general. I don't find them particularly useful and for obvious privacy reasons. Beyond that, the Beam has terrific sound, especially for it's relatively small size, that can be tailored to your room using Sonos's (iOS only for now) software. I did it after a few days of use and it easily improved the sound enough to make the two minutes of effort worthwhile. Kind of amazing really. Love the expandability, the ease of setup and use, and the interoperability with mutliple streaming services and Apple airplay. You really cannot go wrong. 400 bucks well spent as far as I'm concerned.

Worth a try
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very nice build quality and packaging. Sound quality is very good and setup was super easy. The beam may be a little underpowered for a large room but the footprint is so small it is still worth it. Pair it with other speakers and the subwoofer and it all comes together quickly. This is no replacement for traditional high end home audio but is certainly cheaper and easier. This could truly be the best home audio sound some people have ever heard.

Great soundbar awesome sound
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the beam during black friday sale and I love it. The sound is great by itself, but if you can afford the subwoofer it makes it even better. The beam has a clear sound for movies and tv shows as well as ps4 games, it was a 1000x improvement over my previous Sony home theater. Alexa integration is useful but I do not needed as I already have an Echo. The best part is the setup, easy and quick. I will try to get the Sonos One SL to complete my 5.1 surround system.

Great sound; easy set up
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This sound bar couldnt have been easier to set up. Definitely going to start expanding on it. Cranking up the volume fills my house with sound and Alexa is fun. 5 stars if it was a little less expensive but I'd buy it again.

Very Good Soundbar
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this Soundbar to get better sound projection from our TV. Very easy to integrate with our Samsung smart TV, and relatively easy to setup via the SONOS app, which also allows you to adjust many aspects of the sound to suit your needs. The sound is better than I expected without a powered sub, but a SONOS sub can be added if so desired. TV remote will adjust the sound level, but you can also use the built in ALEXA to do it if you want to. Well worth the price.

Stylish, pricey sound
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this speaker to replace a previous Samsung 2.1 sound system. I use it with two Sonos ones for partial surround sounds (no sub yet) and have it connected to my Apple TV. Setup? Not as seamless as my Sonos ones for some reason but eventually got it to work. Sound? As good as you’d expect from Sonos. Smart features? Haven’t tried due to existing poor experience with Sonos ones & Alexa. Design? To be honest, this was a big factor in the purchase. Looks really great but also blends into minimal environments. I like that it comes in white, which is rare for speakers. Price? They are asking for a lot, but on promotion is worth it.

Expensive, but amazing
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Considering how this is so much cheaper than the other Sonos bar, it is a way better choice. I set up smart homes and systems for people all the time. I have set up many Sonos systems and I can tell you the other soundbar is no better sounding and has no feature advantage. This has HDMI input meant to be connected to your TV via the HDMI (ARC) connection. I have an older TV without ARC (audio return channel) but thankfully, this also comes with an adapter so you can use the optical toslink output from the TV into the single HDMI input on the soundbar. This sounds pretty good on its own, but I paired this with a sub and two One SL's for the full 5.1 experience. It sounds amazing. I also like the smart assistant addition. This will support Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. But, it can only be programmed to use one OR the other. I tried both, I like Alexa more, but that's just my preference. With Alexa integration I can have it play from my Amazon music, or pretty much anything any other Echo could do. The one trade off is that since it is not an official Echo, it can't be added to a music group. So when I ask Alexa to play music "everywhere" it won't play on this system. Not major, but unfortunate. No issues with controlling my smart home, etc. I like to fall asleep to music, so I start a playlist and say, "Alexa, start a 60 minutes sleep timer." My music plays for an hour and then stops on its own. So nice! Yes, you pay for this kind of thing, but it was worth it.

Best small soundbar
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really great sounding, compact soundbar. Easy setup, just like all Sonos devices. Like the built in voice controls, and built in Airplay compatability. Moves between home theater mode, Sonos app controls, and Airplay all quite seamlessly. There isn't a better sounding and easier to use multi-function speaker that is better than what Sonos is making these days.

Sonos big sound in a little bar
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent sound for my 70 inch TV. Easy to set up and works great with the app on the phone as well. No need for another remote. It is mostly set and forget. Brings big sound in a little speaker bar. I think I will pick up the base sub woofer in the future as this little guy has good base but in movies a bigger "boom " is always better.

Great Sound for the size
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Im not a big fan of sound bars in general, i have 5.1 and 7.1 setups, but I am a fan of Sonos, and their speakers do sound good for the size and price in my opinion. This is on the smaller side and the bass is actually good sounding for the size. Highly recommend if you are looking for good sound, not crazy expensive and don't need surround sound.

Big sound in a modest footprint
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent design. Easy set-up, amazing sound. Links with other Sonos devices well. Small footprint that makes the room filling sound that much more remarkable. Currently being used in a 20 foot x 20 foot room (large bedroom) but would fill sound - including impressive base without addition of a subwoofer - easily.
