Great sounder for price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a nice sound bar with amazing sound quality and the price point is very good for the brand. Also the fact you can connect it to alexa makes it that much more appealing.

Amazing Sound Quality
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound quality from the Sonos Beam is amazing. I am thrilled with this purchase. It took just a bit to get it connected, instructions are very limited, but it wasn't hard. It fills the room with sound, making it seem like there are more speakers in the room instead of just this one sound bar. We love watching movies again. I will definitely be adding to the system. I like that I can control the speakers with my phone and name the rooms so I am able to play just one room or my whole house (some day when I have more speakers).

Sonos Beam Soundbar
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: Personally I thought this soundbar sounded as good as, if not better than, the Sonos Arc soundbar (compared then in-store), amazing clarity and great design, TruePlay is a cool feature that customizes the audio to your room, great value for price, easy setup Cons: a bit smaller than what I wanted and may not put out the fullness that you would want for a large room- however, I am using this as an outdoor patio TV soundbar so results will likely be better in an enclosed room)

Awesome (Wife Approved) Speaker
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Being my first Sonos speaker, I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect. However, I was blown away by the ease of setting it up as the app walks you through the entire process. Even more amazing was the quality of sound. I wasn’t sure if I would be able to tell a difference at first but the crisp, clear sound is very noticeable compared to the sound of the tv speakers. Lastly, my wife (who initially was unsure of spending the money on this) approves...so much so that we purchased a second speaker and she is already ready for a third. Highly recommend!

Best soundbar less than $500 by far!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great way to get into a Sonos product at an attractive price point. Packs a lot of punch! Not quite as powerful as the Sonos Arc; however, at half the price, it’s a stellar soundbar and you won’t be disappointed! If you’re lucky and can score one at a discount such as buying it refurbished or open box, then do it and use the money saved and get the Sonos Sub! If I had to choose between the Arc without a sub and the Beam with the Sub, without hesitation, I’d go for the Beam!

Wow! Great Sound from a Small Device! Very Happy!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I must admit before purchasing this, I was skeptical. This SONOS soundbar is not big and I was concerned that the sound might not be good enough for my tastes. I was wrong! Fills the room with amazing sound both from the TV or from music services. I use the soundbar for watching tv/movies and also for music. I couldn't be happier. The bass sounds good, even without a sub. I may add a sub in the future if it goes on sale for additional bass, but the amount of bass from this small soundbar is more than enough to satisfy me. And, it was easy to setup with a smartphone. Good job, SONOS!

Good Sound for the Money
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sonos Beam provides clear voice and good musical response. Its compact size allows it to fit in smaller locations than many sound bars. Its bass response in good although the Sonos sub would markedly enhance the bass of music. I have severe hearing loss (the reason for adding the Beam to my Samsung TV) and the Beam has appreciably improved my comprehension of voice without further increasing the volume. Easy to install, the Beam also pairs easily and works efficiently with Google Alexa.

Amazing sound from a compact soundbar
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great soundbar for those who want detailed sound without having to turn up the volume too high. Prdoduces good sound at low volume, and doesn't crack when you max it out either. App is very intuitive, setup was a breeze, and google/alexa integration are great features to have. Now i don't need a dedicated google home in my living room to control the lights and TV power. Looks great on a minimalistic looking living room setup. Worth every penny.

Quality speaker from Sonos!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. With the intention of purchasing a different brand the sales rep had me listen to the Sonos Beam 1st. After listening to the sound quality of the Sonos Beam I couldn’t help but being lured to purchase one. Once I got it home it was so easy to setup to my television and my Echo dot. It really delivers the dialogue to movies. It also manages to separate the left to right sounds of each channel well. I am now considering pairing up with other Sonos speakers. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Love Sonos.
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Packs way more sound than it looks like it would. Ended up being perfectly full sound….was originally concerned there wouldn’t be enough on the low end for movies but I was wrong. I’m not huge into bass but I definitely want it to be there and this met my needs. Overall super easy to use, just plug HDMI into the ARC port and run though the SONOS app setup and you’re done. Awesome.

Beam Soundbar - Decent sound and easy operation
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After some initial challenges getting the Beam to connect, operation has been troublefree. Great sound for a single soundbar but likely to invest in the subwoofer soon. Cost of the sub is a little bit more difficult to swallow. Overall happy with purchase.

Big Sound in a Small Package
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have an open space loft condo with high ceilings. I was torn between the Beam & the Playbar. Being that the Beam was the cheaper option, I figured I would try it first. Previously, I had a Vizio 5.1 Soundbar setup. Out of the box, the setup was a breeze thanks to the Sonos App. After completing the TruePlay Tuning, the sound is incredible! The Beam by itself sounds better than my entire 5.1 setup. I was initially skeptical that the bass would not be as good as I did not but the sub but the bass is surprisingly good. Overall, I am incredibly happy with my purchase.

Wonderful upgrade to tv speakers!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been looking for a soundbar for a while to improve the sound from our tv. Set up was simple and quick. The main feature I wanted was dialogue clarity. Maybe I’m getting older but it’s sometimes hard to hear conversations on shows. This soundbar really improves that. Surprisingly I also use the night time mode which makes soft scenes a bit louder and makes loud scenes a bit softer. This allows me to listen to the tv at night without disturbing others. It is a bit more than what I wanted to spend but after having it for over a month it’s worth it. Apple air play is so much easier to stream music for my gf. She sometimes struggles with Bluetooth pairing and this simplified the process of playing music from her phone. Amazon Alexa is convenient since I can turn off the tv without looking for the remote. The one drawback of voice enabled services like Alexa is that the volume gets muted when the microphone picks up Alexa and sound gets interrupted but this is a minor inconvenience. I love that it’s smaller compared to other sound bars and has a low profile and doesn’t take up much space. Yes it’s pricy but I do want to pick up two additional speakers to Make it a 5.0 set up. Still on the fence about getting the sub since that’s a much larger investment but for now my gf and I are extremely happy with this.

The Biggest Sound Bang for the Buck!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have several Sonos speakers and love the whole system. When I was looking for a new TV sound option I wasn't sure about running only a sound bar. I went with this option because it was Sonos and I knew the quality. Let's just say the sound quality and volume is great! Easy to control with the Sonos app. This smaller speaker is perfect for any normal size room or house and can be connected with your other Sonos speakers for true surround sound. I'm not really sure what the larger speaker would offer other than if you needed it for a much larger room. I highly recommend this speaker.

Took me away from a Bose
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This sound bar is absolutely stunning. I love it! I’m a huge fan of Bose and when I was in the market I was going to get a Bose. Then a wonderful member of Best Buy showed me a comparison between the Bose and this Sonos. For a cheaper price, you get better quality with this bad boy. Movies sound perfect and games are wonderful! I’m usually playing my Xbox and hearing things from left to right is very distinct and precise. Music sounds wonderful as well. Having Alexa with this is always nice! Overall I recommend this. It’s sleek in design and delivers in sound.

Amazing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Incredible product. Alexa works very well, the sound is amazing! Especially If you tune it to the space the soundbar is in. It has surprisingly deep bass and incredible clarity. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. I will be adding the SUB here pretty soon to get the extra “rumble” effect. But this does do an excellent job overall. Voices are very clear and open, and has a nice wide soundstage. It sounds similar to the Playbar but without the price tag. Highly recommended.

Good by itself. Great with Sonos Ones.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Beam sounds nice, if a bit "small” by itself. Dialogue is indeed very clear and easy to understand right out of the box. When I added a pair of Sonos Ones as surround sound speakers that Beam turned into something great. It really made a substantial difference. Eventually I may add the Sub but the bass is actually decent enough to my untrained ears without it. Movies, TV shows, and music alike all sound very nice, especially if you add a pair of Sonos Ones. I'm using the system in a pretty small bedroom so if you have a large living room or something like that you might want to look at something more powerful. The Alexa integration works really well and I like how you can control all the settings from your phone, and even a Mac app if you so desire.

Best soundbar ever!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Looks great in my living room in front of my TV and sounds amazing! Was looking for a speaker option that would work with the high ceilings in my loft and the Beam does the trick! There is a very nice balance of clarity and power. For movies, the dialogue is crisp and clear and there is a decent amount of base built-in to the soundbar. Music sounds great as well! I'll definitely be upgrading to the Arc down the road and will finish building my sound system with the Sonos One satellite speakers very soon!
