I've used soundbars br Vizio, Sony, Polk, and definitive technology. The Beam is easy to set up and has great sound. You can hear the separation between the right and left speakers. Sound is clear. Center speaker can be enhanced using the app.

I love that when I turn on my tv it's automatically connected. Listening to music is easy too. No problems connecting like my previous speakers. I can't wait to add more speakers on another floor. Great sound quality.

I have owned a play bar since they came out and love it. I was a little concerned when buying the beam because I thought it wouldnt sound as good because it definitely was made with cheaper parts but sonos did not let me down the bass in the beam itself is better that the play bar and it does very well filling the room with sound. Its definitely something you want to put in a smaller room but totally worth it. Awesomesauce!!!!

I was in between this or the Samsung sound bar, and we went ahead and got the Sonos. The sound quality that this sound bar gives is amazing, I’m really happy with my purchase. I highly recommend this product!

The sound bar is easy to install and carries amazing sound. The controls allow for many variations of sound to please any style of music or media. It is impressive to have this much sound produced with one bar speaker. The high expense of the partnering subwoofer however is fairly disappointing. It seems far too inflated for the market. Something to consider!

This really changed the viewing experience in our family room. The sound is great, not overpowering. Also love how it can add a boost to our existing Sonos system in the house as an extra speaker for music.

Amazing sound comes out of this smaller soundbar. I use it in the bedroom and easily fills the room up with great sound. If you already invested in the SONOS system this would be a great addition to a smaller room.

Great soundbar. I have to wear hearing aids and have always gotten muffled sounds from other sound bars. This gives a great clear sound when talking and love being able to hear again without saying, "What did they say?" Love the radio function, as well.

It replaced my Samsung soundbar. Provides excellent sound and extremely easy setup. Not to mention I love that it connect to my other Sonos speakers so when I’m not using the TV and playing music around the house that area is covered as well with the Sonos Beam.

This sound bar is better than the one I had. It took only minutes to set up and calibrate with Sonos trueplay. Being able to use my phone with the app is huge plus. I am going to expand this with other Sonos products. It was worth the money spent.

Great option for a 3.0 bar. Currently on sale for $300. Extremely convenient setup and expandability. The arc is objectively better for larger rooms of you can afford it. But for smaller rooms, this is definitely the right choice

Overall easy set up, good sound for the size of the speaker, but there appears to be some issues with HDMI Arc. This issue may be isolated to older TV models or as some research would suggest, Samsung’s implementation of AnyNet. Regardless the speaker disconnects from the TV randomly requiring a full reboot of the TV and Speaker.

Sonos rocks. The sound is exceptional for such a compact speaker. You may have to play around with your TV so that the lips and words are in sync and not one before the other. Overall - totally worth the price!!

Added this sound bar and it was easy to set up. Allows access to all sorts of streaming services as well as any digitized music you have on your PC/Mac (go to their website to download app). Works with our TV as well as all our other devices.

I bought the beam for both for a sound bar for the tv as well as listening to background music when we wanted it. We didn’t get the sub woofer just the bar. It has lived up to my expectations and passed it. As a TV sound bar it works well. I’m older and my hearing isolate it once was. It has help with the dialog. As for playing music it does a fairly good job. It fills the room very nicely great sound stage. Also the lack of Bluetooth is less of an issue than I was expecting the network works fine. The negative is it tends to be vey strong in the mid tones and lack the highs and lows. What we use it for suites us fine. Do I recommend it, yes is there better units probably but my price point was 400 and I plan to buy other Sonos speakers for other rooms and the app for Sonos is great for that.

Nice that it can use Airplay and Amazon Echo features. Sound quality is very good, the bass is just a bit lacking. Have an Apple HomePod and put them up next to each other. The Sonos has better clarity, however the bass is nowhere near as good as the HomePod. The Sonos majorly drops the bass as the volume gets higher. Still happy with it for a small room, but it is definitely not a traditional soundbar with sub replacement.

Sound-bar does a bit of everything and does it well, excelling at both music and movie sound range and fits seamlessly into Sonos’ existing network of multi-room speakers. Amazon Alexa integrated and overall great design.

I did a ton of research and decided to get the Sonos beam. I love it. To cut it short...I now want to buy the sub and rear speakers. Gonna be pricey cause these aren’t cheap at all but they also don’t sound cheap. Well worth the investment.

I have 2 theaters in my home with excellent full spectrum speakers. If you are looking to improve the performance of the TV this is excellent, sitting about 8-10 feet from the beam on center is the sweet spot. It does not carry as well off axis, but overall (with the sub) provides a much better experience than a TV and the ARC works great, we simplified, to a smart TV and this product and could not be happier!

Impressed with the quality of the sound both for the tv and for music. Better bass than expected, not floor rattling but evident and well balanced. I use the speaker for music as part of the sonos system.
