    My quest for low cost soundbar without sub woofer ended with Sonos. Lot of people said it doesn't support Dolby or some other audio standards but from what I tested with other options out there this edges out for the price and quality of sound and compactness. I can expand it by adding sub woofers, satellite speakers when ever I am ready. Thats exactly what I am looking for.

    The Beam is what I could afford. I still would have liked to have bought a multi channel. However, it sounded way better than the other popular brand names i spent an hour comparing.
