I got this Sonos Beam sound bar to replace an outdated sound bar for my room entertainment system. It was a breeze to setup and the interactive room dimension sound test was actually fun. Apparently the sound beam adapts to the dimensions of the room you set it up in and continually improves the sound as you use it when watching tv or listening to streaming music. The sound from the Sonos beam is very full and theatre like when watching movies. The added EQ in the app allows you to tune it to your preferences which is a plus but not needed in my opinion. Having Alexa built in is awesome! Alexa is very responsive and works well with the mic built in. It is actually making me a little lazy as I do not need the remote control to adjust the volume, just ask Alexa to do it. Wish it was capable of changing my channels as with other smart devices are able to do now, but no complaints here. You can add all of your music streaming services to play music just by telling Alexa to play your selection and the music fills the room as if you were in an amphitheater. All of this with simply one connection with an HDMI cable and the power adapter. I asked Alexa to find all my other devices and it did and automatically connected them with the Sonos Beam. Absolutely amazing to me how simple and intuitive this Sonos Beam is with the quality of sound. Love it. And the price is not a turn off for what you are getting with this system. Great buy.
