I have been extremely happy with this sound bar. The set up was easy using the Sonos app. The app even helps balance the audio in the room. It works with Alexa even with the TV off. The sound fills the room clearly and even thought there were police sirens outside while watching a movie!

Love this soundbar. Easy setup and calibration process. This looks so good on our media console. Even with the compact size, the sound quality is great. Tested it straightaway with some Marvel movies and it worked perfectly. We love the integration with Google. It's very responsive.

This soundbar is amazing! I have always had Bose products but this soundbar blows my others out of the water. I have a small to average size living room and this soundbar (without a subwoofer) has a very large sound. I can highly recommend this and actually plan to get another one for my bedroom.

I am very pleased with the performance of the new Sonos sound bar, it fills my great room spectacularly. I don’t have any of the surround sound speakers or sub but plan to expand the set in the future. Setup was thorough but easy to follow. The Alexa functionality is pretty cool but wish it interacted with more video streaming apps.

Nice smaller sound system for home viewing. Really good for movies as it easily pairs with one or 2 Sonos Ones to create a surround sound effect. No bass for music aficionados, though. Pricey for a small soundbar, but look around for discounts or specials. Better than a bigger Toshiba soundbar we previously owned. Oh sound gets disjointed and repetitive if WiFi signal is slow or not strong. Has only happened 2 times in daily use for 1.5 months now.

Love my Sonos Soundbar once I finally got it to work. Had to call Sonos and it took about 1 1/2 hours but we finally got it going. It had difficulty connection to my Samsung TV that was only about 3 years old. I have 4 Sonos Ones connected to the Soundbar. 2 as surround sound speakers and 2 as stereo speakers. GREAT sound!!!

We have a full 5.1 set up in our LR with the big brother play bar, which we love a lot! So when it came time to get a sound bar for the bedroom, it was a no brainer to go with this option - especially since our house is also Amazon echoed out...the built in Alexa feature on the Beam is a great fit! If I had to call out a couple of “flaws” (likely too strong a word) is it needs “help” on the low end so, when Sonos comes out with a smaller sub option (which appears to be something in the works if u believe the posts on the topic), I will likely strongly consider pairing it up. Their current sub (which we have in the LR) would cause an earthquake in our bedroom so that’s not a solution for us. The other issue I find with it is there’s a slight lag in Alexa command response compared to standard Echo devices so I find I’m repeating myself as a result. Musically and for TV sound, it’s perfect for our use in the master bedroom (wouldn’t recommend for larger spaces though). As with other Sonos products, incredibly easy to set up and tune to the room - 10-15 min process tops!

I really wanted the Arc, but didn't want to spend $800 right now. Saw some good reviews on this one and decided to give it a go, and I don't regret it. At half the price, still a Sonos, but still powerful. Love this soundbar and it was easy to set up.

Disclaimer - I own several other Sonos speakers, and this is my first soundbar from them. It is amazing. I am using it in my bedroom, and I feel like I have a home theater in there! Easily connected to my TV via HDMI ARC interface, and enabled Alexa for the room as well!

Sound quality - 4 stars. Not as high end as the bigger version of sound bars from Sonos and Bose Setup - 5 stars Sonos app - 5 stars WiFi connection - 5 stars. No lag Smart assistant - alexa is good. Reception is good. waiting for Sonos to start supporting Google assistant. Will buy the Sonos play to add the surround effect once Google assistant is available. Having used Bose products for 6 years, I'm can say I'm happy with Sonos as well. Major negative for me is lack of Bluetooth support.

I love this sound bar, excellent quality, crisp sound and the best bang for the buck. I really enjoy this soundbar and the sound they produce. These are WIFI only and that could be a draw back, but otherwise, I love these speakers and will continue to expand to more of their options.

Been wanting one for a while, finally bought one. Setup was easy enough for me, it's just a couple cables and the phone app walks you through it all. I bought it for my TV, but I like how I can play spotify through the sonos without having my TV on, and how seamlessly I can swap between TV/spotify etc. I also was surprised to find my TV volume immediately started working for Sonos with little effort, and my phone volume also controlled sonos. Liked both of those things. My only complaint (which I'm not reducing stars for) is that the Sonos was delivered in a black sonos box that said "SONOS" in big letters, and the delivery person went out of their way to make it AS VISIBLE AS POSSIBLE - stood it up on it's side so "SONOS" was over my hedges... crazy... no idea what they were thinking delivering it like that and not even trying to hide it at all, but making it MORE visible than all other deliveries I've received. Fortunately it was not stolen.

I bought this Sonos unit for a family relative for Christmas and he loves it. I’m told it was very easy to set up, and the app on his phone works well. He set up the Beam and two rear speakers for Surround Sound, I’m told he thought the performance was very good, as he went back and watched many movies he owned .

Bought this as a gift for our father for Christmas. Great sound and you do not really need the sub woofer with it unless you watch a lot of movies. We already have the Sonos playbar and sub set up At our place and the beam is great because it is smaller but packs the same sound quality.

Paired this with an LG NanoCell 90 and the sound is awesome. Easy to set up and listen to your favorite music when you are not watching tv. A good start for a wireless system. Add a Adonis sub and a pair of Sony’s ones and you have a great surround system.

Bought this to replace a Bose sound bar which worked great for years. The sonos sound bar delivers exquisite sound, and honestly seems to have better sound than the Bose. Highly recommend! Small, sleek, yet packs a powerful sound performance.

This is the best soundbar I've ever owned and works flawlessly with 2 Play 1's as tweeters for surround sound. It took me all of 5 minutes to setup and have perfectly tuned for my theater room space. The only knock I can think of is that it does not produce the deepest base but that actually is a blessing in disguise. I used to think I enjoyed deep base in all of my speakers and that is still true for my music speakers. But when I'm watching a movie, I've found that base actually can drown out dialogue/speech. I can now hear every sound crystal clear and do not feel like I'm giving up any depth of sound. Then, when I'm not watching shows, this soundbar integrates into my home speaker system for Spotify. Absolutely fantastic. Piece of advice, don't get white. I initially tried that thinking it would go well in my mid-century modern home but it doesn't. If it doesn't work there I can't imagine it working anywhere, until they start making TVs with a white bevel.

I like Sonos products very much. They are easy to setup, easy to use, and typically sound quite good. This sound-bar doesn’t disappoint. It’s ideal for a smaller sized room and if you can add the Sub that would be great, but if not, it still sounds great.

Wry happy with this. I wound up upgrading the tv because my original one didn’t have an HDMI ARC connection. You need that to enable your tv remote to control the sound. Other tha. That you would have to use your phone which is t practical just to adjust the volume. Sonos really should offer a remote - that’s an oversight on their part and it’s why it’s not 5 stars. Sound is good foe a speaker this size.

The sound quality is incredible. Even with just the soundbar, without the sub woofer, the sound is already incredible. The modifications on the app such as the voice control and night mode are self-explanatory and do make a difference in the sound. In only wished that it was easier to modify the volume on the app with dedicated up or down buttons; it only has a slider for now. There was a bit of a struggle syncing the bar with the eArc of our TV which I wasn't able to resolve with Sonos' customer service (their customer service is excellent by the way, they will walk you through everything). But this problem was remedied by connecting the bar to the digital audio output. Overall, despite some issues with installation, I'm giving it five starts for the sound quality alone, which is clear, crisp and impressive.
