Great sound for smaller rooms - ours is 250 sq ft

Get rid of wires from old Denon AVR 590 receiver and listen iPhone music apps via Bluetooth without TV on. Minimal Instructions so it was tricky to install app and use TV remote for sound. Not figured that out yet so will uninstall app and reinstall. Connected to older Sony TV with 4 HDMI inputs so DVD, TIVO, Chromecast and FireStick all play through Sonos Beam now using optical out with adapter. Pleased with Best Buy curbside pickup.

Good soundbar if you've already bought in to Sonos
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Sonos Beam is a nice little sound bar. It replaced the Vizio I had previously. Pros: Integrates with my existing Sonos stereo system. Also integrates with the Samsung TV. The Vizio soundbar required a separate remote. Like that it comes in white, not just black. Can also be used as a stand alone speaker. Cons: sound quality is decent, but lacks the bass and treble of my old Vizio. Takes up one of your HDMI ports. Alexa enabled -- not sure letting Jeff Bezos listen in to everything you watch, talk about, etc., is a good idea.

Sounds Great but Alexa is hit or miss

It easily hooked up using HDMI arc and the installation to my tv was a breeze with the Sonos beam mount. I find that using Alexa has been hit or miss for me. Sometimes she responds and is interactive and other times I stand right next to the speaker and I will get no response. I bought the sound bar for the audio so therefore I am happy. Had I bought it to have another Alexa device nearby, I would be greatly disappointed.
