This sound bar has great clarity and bass even without a separate subwoofer. The Sonos proprietary app only connect through major music streaming services like Apple, Google, iHeart etc. Setup with older TVs can be tricky especially ones without ARC support. First time setup worked with TV volume control, and had to reset connection and this time, TV volume setup was not successful. Overall, this is a great product aside from tricky setup.

For $400 you cannot get a better sounding sounder, especially when you consider all the tech included (Alexa, room acoustic calibration, music streaming, multi-room audio expansion, home theater expansion, etc...) and the forma factor and aesthetics are un comparable to other sound bars also.

I got the soundbar and surround speakers and I’m more than happy with the sound. Music sounds crisp and clear. I can hear details in movies that I’ve never heard before. Highly recommend if you want big sound from a small package. Recommend to use on medium to small rooms

Amazing sound for such a small soundbar. Easily fills rooms and gets surprisingly loud without getting distorted. If you have the money, I’m sure it would be nice to add the sub down the line but the beam is great for apartment living!

I am so sold on everything Sonos! The Beam did not disappoint! I love how awesome it sounds after you tune it for room you have set it up in, sounds amazing!! Also another plus is you can add this to you music sound system as well!!!

In my setup with the Beam, two Sonos Ones and the Sub I’m very pleased with the clarity of dialogue from TV and films. Much better than my old Vizio sound bar. Not as impressed with music performance. Not enough punch. Two Ones in stereo sound quite a bit better.

Great sound. Can understand all voices which I can’t do with the tv speakers. Makes it easier to understand foreign dialects/accents. A little expense but glad I went this route. Some sound bars sound a little fake. Not real.

Sound is pretty good. App is frustrating but doable.

I have other Sonos speakers and decided to get the Beam. Was a little hesitant to buy without the subwoofer but I did and wow, am I surprised at how good this sounds, even without the subwoofer. The bass response is excellent and the sound clarity is amazing. Highly recommend the Sonos Beam.

Sounds real good I need to purchase a couple of rear speakers to enhance movies sound.

We had debated between the Sonos Playbar and this one in the end....Beam Won! I enjoyed Playbar but for a round about experience it was a little too much bass for a bar. I love bass but want it to come out of the right spot! That is why i purchased the subwoofer which is amazing! Good pairing!

Good quality. Sound’s ok, but not what I expected. You need to spend more $$$.

Purchased this sound bar to replace an existing sound bar and sub. What I love about this sound bar is the built-Alexa and I’m able to play music over WiFi. Also I have other Sonos speakers so I can play the same music throughout my home.

Easy setup, good sound low form factor, doesn’t get in the way of the tv. Simple to use,

Good sound, menus are not the most intuitive if you have other sonos speakers that are on the network

Had Geek Squad come in and move my flat screen from above fireplace to another wall along with installing this elegant little bar. Looks great, sounds awesome. Integration with existing Sonos speaks is terrific and Sonos just added Airplay compatibility with is a huge plus as an Apple user.

This was a decent sound bar but did not sound appreciably better than several others I sampled. Additionally the others were equipped with a subwoofer that is an extremely expensive Sonos addition. The Bose soundboard (also expensive but in the same price range) were superior in all aspects

The product was just what I wanted, the geek guys came and were on time, explained to me everything that they recommended and were going to do in order to make it all look and fit around my existing items and in no time they had it all up and working. Highly recommend these guys !

This is a great all around soundbar that everyone needs. No need to purchase a subwoofer and surround sound, but those are available for purchase, because this a full room sound. I will most likely keep buying sonos because the quality is excellent.

Bought this for my bedroom which is 14X14 with cathedral ceiling. Have mounted to the wall below the TV and the sound is pretty incredible. The bass that comes out of this is surprising. I have three Play 1's, Beam, Connect and a Playbar so am a Sonos fan. Highly recommend!
