Sonos Beam Volume Display Annoying

The problem I hate is that the sound levels do not display on my Samsung TV. It's very annoying not to be able to see the sound levels. I purchased 2 Sonos Beams and on one of the devices, the power cable does not plugin flush. The power cable keeps unplugging from the soundbar. Super annoying.

Posted .Hi, and thank you for taking the time to review Beam. Usually there's a setting on the tv that will allow the volume level to be displayed.

After a few weeks of using it, periodically the speaker makes a thumping noise like a helicopter in the background. The only resolution is to unplug it, then plug it back in to the wall. Already returned one and the second one is doing the same thing. The second one I have for music only, no issues.

Posted .Hi, and thank you very much for your review. This sounds like an issue with the ARC/eARC port on your TV. There are known issues that TV manufacturers are working on firmware updates, that distorts audio when a soundbar is plugged into one of those ports. Try using the optical/HDMI adapter that was included in the box with the Sonos Arc. If the issue stops, then you know that is the problem. We're eagerly waiting for these firmware updates from Tv manufacturers! Until then, please reach out to us at sonos.com/support if you need anything at all!
