Bought this for use in master bedroom. It sounds great, is easy to set up. Plays music from IPhone when not watching TV. Well worth the cost.

I didn't want to spend the extra coin on the Playbar or Playbase but still wanted a soundbar which was integrated in the Sonos ecosystem. Enter the Beam. We listen to lots of music and having all the Sonos speakers in the house able to play the same music is a plus. The sound is the typical Sonos sound which I would characterize as neutral. Setup is a breeze if you have a TV with HDMI ARC but an HDMI to Optical adapter is included if you don't. The Beam has great horizontal dispersion which is to be expected from a soundbar and surprising bass for its size.

This was a Christmas gift for my wife who absolutely did not want a soundbar. She was afraid that she would need to use another remote or turn on a switch every time she wanted to watch TV. Well her fears were not realized and she is happy with her new speaker. She not have to use another remote or turn on another switch. The remote for the cable box adjusts the volume like it did before. Also if she needs to use the TV remote, it also adjusts the volume as before. She can also ask Alexa to change the volume for her. The Sonos Beam also is a wireless speaker that can play music from a music service like Amazon or Apple Music. You can use the Sonos app or just ask Alexa. Setup was easy once I figure out that the TV should be set to PCM rather than DTS. The Beam can also be setup for surround sound by adding Sonos 1 speakers and a Sonos subwoofer, but that can get expensive. Overall I am glad I purchased the Beam for my wife. She is happy and so am I.

I'm not a soundbar expert, but I did a little research before buying and decided to go with this model. I notice a MAJOR difference when listening to music through my TV and a significant difference when listening to dialogue. I bought this for general sharper sound quality (i.e., no more "what did they say??") and don't really care about a thundering cinema experience, so I won't speak to that aspect. I will say, I do wish that the volume control had an on-screen volume level indicator, but I have been pleased aside from that tiny flaw.

this soundbar is really fantastic. i replaced a samsung soundbar and have no complaints. the set up was super easy and the sound is excellent!

Love the size, sound, ease of use. I had some difficulty setting it up but customer service was great and even contacted me back to make sure it was working. Very impressed!

If you want huge sound this isn’t it. If you want great sound that fills room and can expand system at any point. Highly recommend. Alexa works well on it. Sound quality is hard to beat.

The system is clear, rich, and fantastic. I was hesitant to buy a sound bar without a stand alone subwoofer but I’m genuinely impressed with the beam. The built in Alexa feature is super quiet compared to the overall volume of the soundbar and there is no fix for it. You can google that, hundreds have reported it, but it is what it is. Overall I’ve been very happy with my purchase and I recommend this for small rooms. We have a fairly large living area that has the Klipsch 600 but that is next level compared to the beam.

Sleek, simple, easy to use. Sounds great without a sub-woofer, so I can only imagine how amazing it would sound with one. I got white to match my decor & it looks very feng shui.

Don't let the smaller size fool you. This sound bar puts out a lot of quality sound for it's size. The price is reasonable as well and pairing it up with the App was easy

Super easy way to add a lot more sound from your TV or music from your phone. I was initially concerned about having to download the app to setup the soundbar/use the sound bar.However, once the initial setup was complete you do not need to use the app, but the app does offer quite of bit of options that you would otherwise be unaware of. Also if you don't have an Iphone, then borrow someone else's so that you can better tune your soundbar and optimize the sound for the room that its going to be in.

Bought the sound beam for my 55 inch tv and for listening to music and I couldn't be happier. It literally is the best for your moneys worth around the starting audio bars. Great buy.

Highly recommended. While more expensive than other options, it was hearing it a friends house that resulted in my decision to buy the Sonos.

Costs a little more compared to competition but well worth it. I have this set up in my office and the calibration tool through the app was simple. Sounds is top notch.

It works seamlessly with my TV and when I play music it connects with my Sonos One speakers. The setup was so easy and connecting with Alexa was a snap.

Great sound and great fit for the space. I would recommend the larger one if you have the budget and space but the Beam is still high quality.

We previously had an upscale Sony System to go with our Sony TV. The Sony system HTST9 was pretty pricey at the time and just never lived up to its hype. We went to BB to look at sound bars and came across the Sonos beam. We had other Sonos products in the house and enjoyed them. We read the reviews and brought it home, piece of cake to hook up and easily transitions between a great sound bar for the tv and then hooks up with our other sonos speakers when we want to play music. The Beam is a great product and satisfies all our needs and a price that won't break your bank account.

I love this sound bar. I live in an apartment and I can’t crank the volume or have a sub woofer. This bar is perfect for my needs. Beautiful sound. The only negative is that dialog is low on certain circumstances, very low sometimes. I wouldn’t dock Sonos a star for this though, because I think it’s the way the individual movie is mixed. Sonos does provide a way of boosting the mids, so that the dialog is louder. It’s not the best feature though, the sound is a little off when I do this. All in all, super happy with this purchase.

I was a little skeptical that a sound bar this small and also pricey would do the job. To my amazement, my 20X20 living room was completely filled with acoustically perfect sound

Got rid of all my big surround speakers a d stream lined to these. Sound is good for tv and movies. Glad I don't have huge speakers taking all my room up now
