    Constantly losing sound. Connected via HDMI ARC connection on brand new Vizio Quantum X tv. Very disappointing from Sonos.

      Thank you for your feedback. Please check your audio output settings as well as your Audio input settings on your Vizio TV. Optimizing those settings can help prevent HDMI ARC issues. Also know that your Beam comes with an HDMI to Optical adapter that can help circumvent the HDMI ARC connection. john.milton

    Just picked up a new Sonos Beam soundbar from my local BB. I'm replacing the original Sonos PlayBar purchased 6 years ago. Nothing wrong with it. I just wanted to take advantage of the ARC output in my TV and Apple Airplay 2 on the Beam. And I was able to keep my Sub. When I opened up the box and grabbed the installation instructions, I was a bit concerned. They are practically non-existent. But, that's because it's all taken care of by the Sonos app. I got the Beam up and running without a hitch in about a half hour, including time to tune it to my room. The TV remote worked automatically and the Xfinity remote was incredibly simple to pair. The sound is amazing and a bit brighter and cleaner than the PlayBar it replaced. We were starting to have issues with some TV dialog on the PlayBar. The Beam seems crisper and clearer. It has the same settings as the PlayBar for clearer dialog and a feature that damps down load noises at night. I also like the smaller profile of the Beam. It has a much smaller footprint than the PlayBar and works perfectly with the Sub. The Airplay 2 is also incredible. We have a pair of Apple HomePod speakers on the same wall as the Beam. Playing music through all three speakers is incredible. It actually creates a wall of music and brings the Sub into the equation. so if you have HomePods, this is a very friendly integration. Fiddling with your TV/cable sound setup can become a nightmare, so I'm thrilled with how well this went. Hats off to Sonos! Obviously, I highly recommend the Beam and all other Sonos products!

    Lip sync with Sonos is bad. Intermittent noise background in sound. iPhone Sonos app not helpful. Remote quit controlling sound and on/off

    Better than tv speakers. Not as good as traditional surround system. If you want easy, this could work for you. This didn’t work for me.

    I was never told before I purchased this that it has to be hooked up through my cell phone. Kinda crazy that you have to use it that way

    I think these would be fine if you had a sub and surround, but I just wanted the front speaker. I returned and got the larger sound bar.

      The Playbar has more drivers and does provide a fuller sound than the Beam but that is because it is larger and has room for more power! Both products will sound even better with a Sub and surrounds for a true 5.1 set up! john.milton

    The geek squad installed it, and shortly after it stopped working. There are no buttons on it and no remote. I have NO IDEA how it works?!

    The Soundbar is absolutely terrible it's awful to set up it is not user-friendly at all sound quality is below subpar you have to do everything through a cell phone to set it up God forbid you need to adjust anything it's almost impossible unfortunately it was purchased as a gift and I can't return it otherwise I would and get my Samsung J Bar series again do not buy this product it's also way overpriced it's a Better Door stop than a speaker

    Alexa FAILS after just 6 weeks!!!!!!!!

    Can't fix it either. Buy the Sonos Playbar and stay away from the BEAM! I wanted Alexa built in and figured it was worth the tradeoff if a reduced sound quality. But now Alexa doesn't work, just 6 weeks after purchase when I can no longer return it. And NOTHING I've done will revive that feature... so I'm stuck with a sucky soundbar with no Alexa when I could've had a Sonos Playbar!!!!!!!!!! Really SONOS? Thanks for nothing!

    Too much $$ for the quality and you cannot even use bluetooth with it, I returned them after 1 week of use, I do not recommend it at all, I believe that Samsung has better quality soundbars (my opinion).
