Sonos beam did not recognize WiFi. Light keeps turning red. Difficult to set up.

I returned it to the store and purchased something else.

It might be a great product, I just can't use it with weak wifi service.

To hard for me to set up returned bought different brand

I was skeptical. I mean, it’s really small - how could it possibly sound good enough to impress me? This thing really works well for television! Throw in the Alexa compatability and, bam! How could you go wrong? Sonos has come a LONG way since it first came out. They convinced me to replace my Denon wireless speakers a while ago and the Beam Soundbar might just convince me to replace the MUCH more expensive soundbar I’m currently using.

Just wow you don't know what your missing until you step up your audio game, im an audiophile for the most part as I record music and have really expensive speaker monitors for my recording studio and a cheap soundbar for my tv and I thought that was good or good enough, I tried the beam because it was on sale, while it does not have the bass a subwoofer would, it fills the room very nicely and sounds fantastic I would recommend to anyone this sounds amazing now I want to get all Sonos speakers in the house I love it.

The sound bar has a good sound quality. It’s clear and fills my living room easily. There is no built in subwoofer so there is no bass which I don’t like. I like that it has Alexa so it makes it easy to set up my Amazon music and just ask her to play music. It’s all set up using an app and I had some issues with installation but once I worked out the bugs it worked great!

The Sonos system is hands down the best thing out there. Everything is easily controllable from your phone. It’s all wifi based (and optional Bluetooth on the Move device) so you’re not messing around with Bluetooth pairing. There are very few, if any, glitches. The phone app is easy to use and full control of all devices and all music sources is just a touch of your cell phone. Sound quality for the Beam device is very good. Sound quality for the Beam is quite good. There may be competitors with better sound, but none will have the technology that provides this kind of convenience as an overall system. Also, I have wrestled with other soundbars to get the remote to connect (that is, I don’t want my soundbar to require yet another remote control of its own). The Beam connected flawlessly to my DirecTV remote. There is also a great feature that lets the system switch to TV as the source as soon as you turn on the TV. For instance, you might have been playing music thru the Beam earlier via your phone or Alexa. As soon as you turn on the TV it recognizes that as the new source. You don’t have to switch to it using your phone or anything. The Beam is “Alexa” or “Hey Google” compatible but you must choose which. It can’t be both at once. SONOS is a bit vague about the specs on their devices (particularly the size of the speakers inside the devices). But worry not. They sound big. Finally, these are available on AMZN, Best Buy, and of course SONOS’s web site. There is no reason to buy thru AMZN as the price will actually come up a bit lower at SONOS (due to taxes, depending on where you are). And there’s no reason to have AMZN take a cut of the profits. SONOS is fast with their shipping and their customer service for returns is excellent. If you want to see the devices in person, go to Best Buy and purchase there.

We had a Bose sound bar in our room but it did not have voice control and we had to have a separate remote for it as it did not work with our TiVo. We went by the store and they had many signs stating they were "out of stock" for this item but as we walked around the area we spotted 2 of them in white. We love Sonos and the setup is quick and easy! and it works with our existing TiVo/TV so we only need the one remote....

This soundbar has a great sound to it. I bought it for just music and an extra sound tool for the extra bedroom. Sounded great so i bought the subwoofer and two sonos back speakers to make a full surround sound in the extra bedroom. Granted it doees not have dolby stmos, dolby, or DTS but it sure sounds like it does. I have a very expensive surround sound in the living room with dolby atmos and all the new grear surround sound features. It sounds great but upon hearing the sonos in the extra bedroom I decided to test it out in the living room. O man, o man, the sound was better then my expensive surround sound set up. I know the new surround sound features give those extra little sounds coming from one sound to another which was rhr only benefit of my dolby atmos set up. When it came to the actual sound the Sonos beam beat my expensive Sony set up too easy.

Sound so amazing! Would be nice if it has Siri built into it though.

I have been using Bose Home Theater system and purchased this product from Best Buy last week for my second TV. It is one of the best soundbars I have ever seen. Sound quality is high and with the builtin Alexa I can communicate with my kids without adding another device in my bedroom. I am very satisfied and it's really worth the price.

I've had multiple Sonos speakers in the past, so the setup of the Beam via the app and iPhone microphone tuning was very familiar to me. Connection to the television via ARC was also straightforward. While Sonos is great for what they created, I think the hidden feature is the Airplay 2 functionality. So, not only will this serve as your television's speakers, but you can stream over wifi any audio content from your iDevice to the Beam. I think that's the true killer feature of this soundbar.

Sound quality is great, interface of setup I wish was easier

First step into home theater audio since a late 90s pioneer surround system. Has performed reliably for years now and boosted nicely couple years ago paired with two play:1s and more recently with the sub mini.

The sound from just the bar is excellent for an apartment. It is better than other sound bar I have ever had. Set up relatively easy... Also love that I can play Sirius/XM and use Airplay2 with it... worth the money!!!

Love the sound from this Sonos soundbar. I have it just below my flatscreen on a console, where it fits with the decor of the room and doesn't stand out. Compared to my TV's speakers, the Sonos is amazing. I wish it were a little less expensive, but if I get 5 years out of this system, it'll be worth it!

Sonos is amazing so easy to use and connect and the sound is incredible from a small sound bar overall I give it a 10
