Great sounding soundbar. Was much smaller than I had anticipated. The sound that this piece makes is very clear and responsive. We use it for a TV mounted outside and about 20-30 ft away from where we sit. Sound is clear without having to be turned all the way up. A little confusing with initial setup, but I am not a tech guy, so take that with a grain of salt. However, after a simple youtube video, we were back in business.

Sonos simply rocks. Fantastic sound, easy setup, easy use. Wireless sound at its best!

I purchased the beam soon after it came out, the physical size and price were both appealing factors. It’s amazing to hear a Sonos home theatre configuration expand as pieces are added. I even mounted one of these BEHIND a television where I am trying to maintain a very nice look without having electronics dominate my living room, and this worked GREAT. I was so happy with this, and the optional walk mount just made it effortless. Liked it so much I bought a second one.

Could not be happier with this soundbar. I purchased the white color which blends in seamlessly with my walls. Purchased an aftermarket wall mount which worked well. I bought this unit on Cyber Monday and paid $290 for it so I couldn't be happier. I wouldn't have purchased this unit any other time of year. Sound quality and build quality are excellent so far. Still have one other one to mount outside.

I normally use Bose Soundtouch products and switched to this. I absolutely love the sound quality and ease of set-up.

As an owner of 8 different Sonos devices, I was a little disappointed in the Beam. I had planned on retiring an Amazon Basics soundbar in my bedroom and replacing it with this. One of my biggest gripes is that the height of this soundbar may cause an issue with TV's that are equipped with stands that are rather low. My Sony X900F on its stands made it so I had to aim the remote up and over for it to register. Since I use YouTube and Netflix, I relied heavily on the TV remote and was not about to spend more money on a RF alternative. The upsides are that this device is set up like you would expect from such a cool, growing tech company. It can learn your existing remote to control volume and it can power on/off with your TV so long as you have HDMI-CEC (or manufacturer equivalent) enabled. The Alexa assistant is a cool feature, but you may already have one where you're planning on putting this. To my last point, which was the ultimate letdown, is the sound quality. As an owner of the PLAY:BAR and SUB, I have to say that I was very disappointed in how this sounds. I know, it's not going to sound anywhere near those two devices paired together... but as an owner of several PLAY:5 and PLAY:1 units, I was expecting something more out of this larger device. Overall....i'm left slightly disappointed after assuming the sound quality I have known to love from Sonos is not quite up to my expectation from the Beam.

The beam was my introduction to Sonos. Less than a year later I now own 5 different Sonos speakers and have my whole home immersed in incredible sound and music! I’m so happy I picked up that Beam! The sheer quantity of sound that little beam is capable of producing is mind boggling! And it doesn’t lack in sound quality either. It’s an incredible little sound bar and the google assistant is a really nice touch.

I've got this paired with what is considered one of the top-3 TV makers on the market. I absolutely love the sound bar. It really does provide a dynamic surround type feel but I've been battling lip sync issues and all kinds of other audio issues coming from the HDMI-arc (HDMI-CEC) out of my TV. So, I've had to revert to optical out to remedy these issues which is extremely disappointing. I cannot fault Sonos for this however. Therefore, the included optical to HDMI dongle has been pivotal. IF I had to pick a drawback it would be the fact that I've yet to be unable to pair a remote and have to rely on my phone or other device with the Sonos app to control the volume.

Exactly as advertised! Easy hook up and great sound from such a small unit. Next purchase is subwoofer.

Love it! I have several Sonos products already and this fits in perfectly. I was on the fence for a long time between this and the sound bar or waiting (at the time, it wasn't out, just rumored) for the Arc. As I have a smaller family room, the beam was the perfect fill. I have the beam connected to two Ones and the sub. Works great with every product I have, and all were a breeze to setup and use.

I was in the market for a small soundbar and this worked better than I expected. I was hesitant to purchase as the room where it was going was an open family room to kitchen area and was worried that the sound would not be able to carry across. The sound is great and works for my needs. I would purchase another and recommend to others.

Great sound. A little pricey than other sound bars but it’s worth it

This is a great addition to the Sonos range. Sound is superb, as expected, and Alexa integration works a treat.

The beam is a nice, lower cost Sonos option. It is more compact than the sound bar, cheaper and easy to set up.
