Sound is really nice. But has to connect by WiFi or wire, did not fit my projector because of the connection. Had to return it.

The beam not only looks great but sounds awesome. Having Alexa built in is a real bonus.

The Beam sounds fantastic and really fills my living room. I've added two One SLs for surround sound and am really enjoying movies and tv shows now. The staff at Best Buy recommended the Beam to help with dialog during shows and they were right, this soundbar is much clearer than my old Samsung 3.1 system! My one issue is that for some reason, the Beam doesn't like my Sony Bravia and Apple TV remotes, so that controlling volume is much harder than with the old system, but I'm working on resolving that. The Beam is highly recommended!

Purchased another Beam last nite, with a rare Sonos discount fore BB Elite/+ members. Now we have TWO Beams for our downstairs TVs. I’ve had the first one since just after launch. I contemplated HARD on the new Arc, but price and teething pains gave me cold feet. The Beam is great sounding. It really only lacks the two side firing tweeters to achieve next level performance. It only uses a tweeter for the center channel portion of the speaker. Still, there is a cinematic connection with this speaker, and the sound stage does expand well beyond the sides of the 60” display... even with the measly side firing mids. If it wasn’t for having a dedicated HT setup upstairs, I would move up to the Arc for a main viewing area downstairs. Pretty sure the other Sonos offerings (Playbar/Playbase, which are being phased out) only use toslink, and I’ve never had good luck with the fiber optic lip sync on my TVs. Unfortunately, HDMI, is the only way to go... for now. However, I’m pretty sure the Arc is only a firmware update away from being the perfect Sonus sound bar... @ Twice the price! Boy oh boy do I wanna try the Sub... and a pair of Fives... and an Amp/Sonance setup for outside... and... Bob Loblaw. This Sonos environment is every bit as addictive as the Apple environment!!!

I really wanted the arc but settled for the beam because of the price difference. I have been impressed with the beams sound and seems to pick up more ary of sound wich i found impressive. The beam does a great job of projecting voices and theres no turning up when you cant hear voices or have to turn it down for action scenes.

Really easy setup and looks great. It also sound great in a 400 Square foot room and paired with an LG 55 nanocell tv.

The Beam Soundbar sounds amazing. The setup was simple and took less than 15 minutes.

Alexa now runs my life via my Sonos Beam soundbar. Can't imagine how I lived without it before. Sound is beautifully crisp, even with volume at full blast. Integrates well with my existing Amazon Show home unit, though some of the apps still have some bugs / sync issues that Sonos and Amazon will need to smoothe out. Overall, great product and would highly recommend to anyone operating Alexa products.

Have been using my TV for sound for a few years now and man, I didn’t realize what we were missing. The bass and overall sound is great. Also being able to connect this with my other HomeKit speakers in my house lets the is fit right in. Easy setup and integration with my smart home makes this a great purchase that I definitely recommend.
