Great sound for movies and tv! The speaker has a speech enhancement feature that really helps for movies where everything is loud but somehow dialogue is hard to hear. The Beam also has all the other Sonos functionality and can be paired with other speakers for room to room sound. It can even share the tv audio to a speaker in another room which is great for entertaining with sporting events.

I bought the Sonos sound bar to go with my new tv and i'm glad I did. This was my first sound bar and I wish I had one sooner now that I see how much it adds to the overall experience. I had the geek squad mount my tv and the sound bar, so it's been very easy and convenient to upgrade my entertainment system.

Got this for our game/movie room. It is lovely. The $800 one would have been spot on theatre sound, but this one is a very very close second. We bought it first to try out and if it was not enough we had planned on returning for the larger sonos. We kept this one. It makes movie watching perfect for the home.

I think the Sonos - Beam sound bar has really good sound for the money and size of it.

I absolutely love my Sonos Beam. The sound quality especially when pertaining to voices is amazing. It has a small footprint and provides plenty of sound for my small living room. The dynamic range is great and the system is truly immersive when you add the two Sonos one speakers as the surrounds. Have yet to get the sub but cannot wait to see what depth it can add to an already amazing setup.

Love, love, love this product. The minimalist design is so simple but makes a bold statement. The sound quality is phenomenal for a sound bar of it's size. I also love the fact it has no remote controls, less clutter. All in all I'm team Sonos, great products, great company.

Wow ~ LOVE this Sonos sound-bar! Worth the money. We live stream our daughter’s college jazz band and symphonic band concerts on the TV with sound bar and it is like being there in person. Fantastic! Also love watching action movies with the great sound.

Purchased this as a sound bar that I could control through the TV’s ARC output. The sound is very high quality and fills the room well. I did not buy a sub for this setup and I don’t need it with this sound bar if you’re just watching tv. Setup was disappointing in that it requires an app and you have to create an account, but I get that Sonos is a “smart” system - still I just wanted a simple sound bar that isn’t as wide as the tv...

I was waiting for Sonos to release the Beam and I bought this the day it was released. I also own a Playbar and when the need for another soundbar popped up I didn’t want to spend another $800. At $400 the Beam hit the sweet spot and its performance and ease of use make it a perfect addition. While the Playbar is a fuller sound, the Beam does an impressive job for half the price. Highly recommended.

This was just the right size for our TV and stand. The sound quality is great!

The Sonos Beam is one of the best soundbars I have had the pleasure of hearing. I upgraded by home theater system from a Samsung 2.1 set up to a Sonos 5.1 set up and the difference is extremely noticeable. The beam is very easy and straightforward to set up. Using AirPlay or music apps through your phone is extremely handy and easy to navigate. You will not be disappointed with the Beam.

We had an inexpensive Vizio sound bar and the bass was overpowered and the volume somehow managed to be both too loud and also too airy, so everyone could hear it but we weren’t 100% certain what was being said. The Beam is incredibly clear and it performs with balanced sound whether we’re watching a show or listening to music.
