Great product - well worth the price and very easy to set up.

We had an inexpensive Vizio sound bar and the bass was overpowered and the volume somehow managed to be both too loud and also too airy, so everyone could hear it but we weren’t 100% certain what was being said. The Beam is incredibly clear and it performs with balanced sound whether we’re watching a show or listening to music.

Love, love, love this product. The minimalist design is so simple but makes a bold statement. The sound quality is phenomenal for a sound bar of it's size. I also love the fact it has no remote controls, less clutter. All in all I'm team Sonos, great products, great company.

The Sonos Beam is a great addition to the office/den area and while it's a little pricey, it's a neat product which performs 3-functions in one, enhancing the entertainment experience. It's a TV Soundbar, it plays streaming audio speaker (eliminating the need for a Stereo system) and it's a Smart Speaker (eliminating the need for a separate Amazon Echo). The elimination of wires and additional components and the "clean" setup alone makes it worth the price. If you have a other Sonos speakers/components, it fits in beautifully, allowing and the multi-room sound which fills a small to medium sized-space. Another plus is that you can stream the TV Sound to your other Sonos speakers which is quite useful if you're watching a close game and need to leave the room for a few minutes to run a chore, but want to follow the action. I would rate as 5 stars for it's usefulness, but there are a few considerations...first, it's a bit pricey ($400) and while it can get loud and clear, ideally, you need a subwoofer for a better listening experience and the SONOS SUB is quite expensive addition. Second, the Amazon Alexa integration is only partial and while it picks up the voice fine for simple home automation (like turning on/off lights, or starting a stream of music), it doesn't support full Alexa Skillset yet. For example, I have DISH TV and can use a regular Echo to voice-control the channel change, but the BEAM can not do it. Finally, as a dedicated listening speaker, the stereo spread (while it exists) is quite narrow...so while it works great for background listening or when pairing into multi-room playing, for dedicated listening, it's not optimal. Also, I can see the other criticism is if you have a large living room setup, it's probably not powerful enough by itself...but for a secondary room (den, master, guest room...it's quite ideal)

The Sonos Beam produces much greater sound than you'd expect from a device of its size. The sound bar itself does not have incredibly deep lows but has a wonderful range for watching movies, tv, or listening to music without mudding up the lows or squealing through the highs. If you have a smartphone device, make sure to use the calibration feature to make the most of your investment.

The original Sonos sound bar was too big for my application, but this one is perfect, and has more modern HDMI connectivity. I’ve owned other sound bars that I ended up giving away due to minor nagging issues, but this one is perfect. Not cheap, but still has good bang for the buck — especially considering how it can integrate with other Sonos speakers for future upgrades.

Overall the sound bar is amazing I have it for my 82” Samsung Q7. In a room that is probably 15x15ft. The sound is very good, the dialogue enhancement really makes a difference. The only downside of it was the 3rd day being plugged in it started to cut out but was an easy fix. Just had to unplug the beam and plug it back in.

This soundbar packs a lot of bang for the buck. I tried several systems before landing on Sonos. Sound quality is on par with the Bose 700 series (I had connectivity issues with the Bose sub). Connectivity and controls are seamless and simple. I would recommend this for anyone shopping for their home system.

We were having problems hearing the dialogue on movies and some TV shows. We did some research on sound bars. After a conversation with a Best Buy rep we purchased the Sonos Beam. Connecting the sound bar was easy. It has made a huge difference...even while watching the news! We are very happy with this product.
