The Beam has a feature that resolved an endless problem. My TV's speakers even at volume 1 were echoing sound through the wall, and bothering my loved ones in the evening/night when I could not sleep. This device focuses the sound, tunes the audio to the surroundings, and has a night mode that prevents loud and disruptive audio from angering those you care about.

Sound is fine, when you join it with two Sonos Ones or One SL's in the back. Glad I got this when they had a discount on it. it is heavy in weight. So no vibration.
