I already had pre-wired speakers in 3 locations in my new house and so far I've hooked up 2 zones (4 speakers) to 1 sonos and the quality is great. Gave 4 stars because I feel $500 overpriced for them. Going to try 3 zones (all 6 speakers to one and see how that works)

If you want to stream music to a traditional wired set of speakers, this is the way to go. I hooked this up to some older Infinity floor standing speakers and brought myself into the 21st century in the music world of streaming music. In some ways, if you know audio, you'll appreciate hanging on to those wired speakers because they can not be beat. Hooking them to a streaming music source is really a slick way to go and this unit still gives you the option to utilize wireless speakers as well.

I am very pleased with this purchase. I had two old speakers in the patio, that were not used. I bought this amplifier and hardwired the speakers to it. Now I can enjoy the music outside, and manage the music from my Iphone or my Ipad. I just wish it was not quite as expensive.

I love sonos. I have had in the past whole home audio seteups with built in speakers to the ceilings and audio receivers with multi zone functions. I take sonos amps any day over my previous setups. I was fortunate enough to just move into a house that already has wired speakers in every room of the house and backyard, all I needed was 4 sonos amps and I was ready to go. They are so easy to install and they were great. If you have wired speakers in your place, these are the way to go.

Super easy installation and app is user friendly. Made the outdoor speakers sound even better than before.

We just had our house prewired for speakers and needed a player. Looked into the Sonos and really liked them. Got one and it sounds fantastic. Now time to upgrade the speakers the builders put in.

What to do with the extra bookshelf speakers in the new home where you can't run speaker wire. Only thing missing is apple music which spoke says will happen by years end. Love steaming music independent of my phone.

I have 7 Sonos connect amps controlling 8 sets of speakers and love that I can be sitting anywhere in the house or outside in the front or back yard and connect in to turn music on. I can adjust sound and make music selection from any location. Running different volume levels and musical selections from each location. I can also adjust music bass,treble & midrange for each room remotely. If you love music and having it on often, where ever your at in your house this system is fantastic.

I initially "tried out" two Play3 units to see how they were (figuring I'd return them if not impressed). I was impressed. A little pricey but the sound quality was impressive. Bass response exceeded my expeditions and using various streaming services worked great for me. Then, I realized I had a pair of old but really good speakers downstairs not being used. So again tried out the Connect Amp. Works seamlessly with great sound So now I moved the Play3s into the bedroom. I love the whole Sonos environment.

Simple installation. It drives my Bose environmental speakers well, with better sound than the Bose amp it replaced.

Great product to use. Easy to set up but the price is high to only run two speakers. I guess you get what you pay for! Great product

I need to power sound around my pool, and I wanted the convenience of the Sonos system interface. This product was the perfect choice. I bought a pair of decent outdoor speakers (unfortunately Sonos doesn't make outdoor speakers.) and placed the Sonos Amp in my pool house. Hung the speakers, ran the wire, and I had great sound in under 20 minutes. I believe the Amp only puts out around 100 amps, so the music is not deafening, but I don't need it to be!

Very easy to use. Nice sound and performance. It is something I am using more and more.
