Multi Zone Sonos
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are using a single zone or multiple that aren’t close together, then this system is great. But if you walk from zone to zone, this system is not good. The lag between zones is very noticeable. The multiple zones were not in synced so I had to switch to Control 4 for twice the money.

Simply Awesome!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sonos Connect:Amp is a relatively small and compact system that allows you to stream music to existing speakers. With 110 watts of total power it can drive most bookshelves or in-walls speakers with ease. It took moments to unbox, connect and start streaming music within my bedroom setup. You can't get any easier than these Sonos systems. The sound quality, at least to my ears, is on par with similarly priced home theater receivers, yet it takes up significantly less space. It's two button setup couldn't be easier and the system has worked flawlessly each and every time thus far. I currently have 5 Sonos zones and I'm looking to add another Connect:Amp to drive speakers out on my deck. Highly recommended.

This thing is great!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I searched the web extensively for a lower cost alternative to the Sonos system and couldn't find anything that compared to it, so I finally bit the bullet and bought it. The system is great. It was really simple to setup and sounds awesome. I was a bit concerned that 55watts per channel wasn't going to be enough power to drive my outdoor Bose speakers, but it is plenty loud - any louder and it would just cause problems with the neighbors. A great system if you can afford it.

Sonos to the rescue for whole home audio
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought a house that has whole home audio. For the longest time, I was looking at non functional in ceiling speakers and loose speaker connections, so I decided to do something about it. I did my initial research online and thought that I had to buy multiple components for a solution. i didn't want to do that so I put my research on hold. Then I revisited and browsed more forums and people were recommending Sonos AMP, an all in one solution! So naturally, my next step is to research the product itself. It got rave reviews and the youtube videos made it more clear that this solution was for me. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. It definitely is an all in one solution in a small package (don't need multiple components). I've had it for a couple of months and it is working great, it has a premium feel, user friendly (passes the non-techy wife test), and the audio is superb. Now I have music from online sources (Spotify, Amazon, Pandora, etc...) pumping throughout the house. This product has my seal of approval!

As advertised
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Super easy to set up. I have this, two ZP90's and the remote. Great way to get music everywhere in the house. I paired the ZP120 with a pair of polk bookshelf speakers that were about $180. Got those at Best Buy also. The sound is crystal clear. The real treat to this system is the access to music on my computer, Pandora, internet radio and Sirius. If you like music, this will make you love it. If you love music like me, it will make you never leave the house. Took me about 20 minutes to set up around the house (4 rooms). Spent a bit of money, but no buyers remorse on this end.

Excellent Product, But Overpriced
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We are recent Sonos converts, and purchased this amp to power two outdoor speakers. It works flawlessly and sounds better than the inexpensive receiver I was using before. Love having the same music playing inside and outside the house when entertaining. At $500 it is even more overpriced than Sonos speakers, but we bit the bullet to round out our system. Price is the only thing that keeps me from giving it a 5th star.

Great for expanding multiroom system
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased a house with several built in speakers but had no multiroom system. After I priced out the multiroom systems and calculated the cost and trouble of wiring for a "traditional" system I decided to go with the Sonos. I absolutely love the sound quality and the ease of use on my ipod. I now have a sonos set up in my kitchen, backyard/garage, living room and children's playroom. I would recommend this for anyone looking for an expandable multiroom sound system that can stream online content.

Great addition to my Sonos System
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had a Sonos system for a few years, and added the Connect Amp to power ceiling speakers in my kitchen and living room (I'm using a separate switch box to control volume independently). The amp provides more than enough power to drive each pair of speakers. Like all Sonos products, adding it to an existing system is elementary. Some complain that Sonos is expensive, and say that Apple's airtunes does the same for less (I'm an Apple guy, BTW). One of many advantages of Sonos is that each zone in your house can listen to separate streams (one or more can listen to itunes in their Zones (different music), while another zone is streaming XM, Pandora, Slacker, Last.fm, Spotify or one of hundreds of radio stations from around the globe) -- airtunes is limited to the same stream.

Incredible sound from small package
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I will admit I was bit skeptical when I opened the box and saw the small footprint. However, once I hooked it up to my in-ceiling speakers, any concerns quickly evaporated. I am powering not one, but 2 pairs of speakers and the sound is absolutely amazing. Plenty of power for all four speakers PLUS my subwoofer. I also love the Sonos app - volume changes are near instantaneous and music just takes a second or two for the buffer to do its thing. Overall, very impressed with Sonos and the quality of the products/software they produce. Will be purchasing more in the future!

Reliable and Easy to Use
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife actually uses it and she is not into gadget stuff like this. Was a good excuse to get an iPhone. It is reliable and easy to use. The iPhone app is one of the best Home A/V apps I have seen. Other A/V apps seem primitive compared to the Sonos app. Only con is the price of this unit. Can make the total cost of putting Sonos in each room of your house add up. You are looking at between $600 - $800 per room with speakers. If I did not want in-ceiling speakers, I probably would just go with PLAY:5 or PLAY:3

Awesome for Home Audio System
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have 10 zones (pre-wired speakers) throughout my house for home audio and this system is perfect, although expensive ($500 per zone, not including the money I had already spent on speakers). I can play music throughout my home using my iPhone, etc. The best is that I can play different music in each zone. Amazing product. Probably the best out there for home audio and I hear thati it will soon be compatible with Control4.

Another great Sonos product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I already own 2 Sonos Play:5 units which I'm thrilled with. I wanted speakers on our patio and wanted to be able to stream and have complete control as to stations and volume wirelessly. I considered using Bluetooth portable speakers, but I'm glad I went with Sonos. This system works flawlessly! As my friend who's been selling A/V for 35 years advised me-SONOS, SONOS SONOS!!! You won't be disappointed!

Great system once fully setup and tested
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This system is pricey at first glance, but incomparable to other products when it comes to functionality. If you have an existing home and don't want to completely rewire but want flexibility and a system that can grow with your needs, this is it! The modules allow maximum configuration flexibility to meet your needs, and it can handle internet radio and a variety of music options (ITunes, Pandora, etc.). Since it is such a new product, I had it professionally installed, but we all learned about it together, most technicians hadn't worked with it and those that did had limited knowledge. Once we educated ourselves and worked out the setup bugs, the system works beautifully! Impressive and easy now, love it!

Great addition to the family room sound system
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the SONOS - Connect Amp because I was impressed with the Sonos Play 3 system at my brother-in-law's house. I needed the SONOS - Connect Amp to drive my Bose speakers for music in the family room. A bonus is that the SONOS - Connect Amp has a line-in which I connected to the family room TV eliminating the need for a sound bar system. The SONOS - Connect Amp was a breeze to set up and I can run it from my iPhone, iPad, Galaxy Tab, PC and Macbook Pro! The kids can run it from their iPhones too. Mine is set up to stream Tunein radio, iHeart radio, Rhapsody, Pandora, Slacker and SiriusXM (requires a subscription) in addition to the music in my iTunes library. When I want to use it for the TV, I simply select "line in" from the app & viola! We're finishing our basement and I plan to install two more SONOS - Connect Amps down there.

great product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went to a store and heard some great sound coming from this little system. I asked the sales rep about the setup and he showed me the amp, subwoofer and bridge setup. Then he showed me how to control it from my IPAD. I was hooked. I got rid of my SM Radio that I had running through my house audio system and hooked this up and it works unbelievably well. You can control Pandora, dozens of radio stations, and other music sources right from your phone or tablet.

Life changing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this amp with a pair of definitive technology bp8040st speakers. Once I figured out this amp was powerful enough for those i pulled the trigger instead of buying the connect and buying a separate receiver. It was also on sale when i bought speakers at the same time which also was nice. I have the whole setup close enough to my desktop computer so i have everything connected to sonos. AND i use the "line-in" function with sonos to use the free version of Spotify to play through my entire house!!! Sonos is a great system, but getting around paying for spotify premium is even better!!!!! This stuff is expsensive... but for what it does it is honostly worth more.
