I’ve been using the Sonos One SL as my surround sound (rear speakers) for two years, and honestly, they never felt like they were on! I’d constantly have to put my ear right up to them just to figure out what sound was coming out. I’d mess with the app, trying to adjust the volume, but it never really sounded right. Then one day, while randomly scrolling through Best Buy, I came across reviews for the Era 100s. One review stood out—it mentioned the same issue I had with the One SL, that they barely sounded like they were on. That was all I needed to hear. On a rainy night, I headed to Best Buy, excited to see how big of an upgrade the Era 100s really were. Let me tell you—they’re AMAZING! Once I set them up, I immediately used the Trueplay feature in the app to tune them, and now I’m finally hearing all the sounds I was missing. The rear audio is so immersive, it feels like I’m in the middle of the action. I paired them with my new Arc Ultra, and it’s pure movie heaven! If you’re coming from the One SL like I was, I 100% recommend upgrading to the Era 100s. You won’t regret it! Let me know if this review helped you! This is my second Sonos in the house and I haven't hooked up to alexa. The functionality is fabulous and the sound out of it is incredible it's almost like surround sound in the room

Has a nice full sound that I like better than the Era 300. Playing them both together is the best! They fill in each other's weak spots. Very easy to set up, but the phone app loses connection every once in a while. It seems better on iOS than Android, but on iOS you can't use the volume buttons on the phone to adjust the speaker like on Android. Overall, I would recommend this Era 100 over the 300 for the difference in cost, plus I enjoy the sound a little more. And you can almost afford two of them for the price of the 300!

I love Sonos, when paired with my arc ultra and sub it is hands-down the best surround sound I’ve ever owned. I only wish I had the money to put one in my bedroom and one down in my family room.

I purchased two Sonos Era 100s for pairing with a new Sonos Beam (Gen 2) to improve my surround sound audio setup. It can have some lag when initially connecting to my TCL television and my Apple TV, but sound quality is great for my needs.

I bought these Sonos Era 100 speakers to be used as rear channels in my Sonos system in the living room. They replace a pair of Sonos SL Ones. The Sonos Era 100 is an appreciable upgrade; particular for music playback. I like them so much I am thinking of buying a few more to be used in other rooms of the house for an expanded system. Thumbs up!

As always with Sonos products, excellent sound, ease of use, and connectivity. To my untrained ear, it doesn't sound that different from the Sonos One it replaced, but still an excellent choice.

Awesome sounds, easy set up ..makes movies and sporting events come to life

I'm from the tower speaker/AV receiver world and I'm extremely impressed with these speakers, especially when paired for stereo. I see a Sonos sub-mini in my future to top off the grouping.

This makes 5 Sonos speakers I have now. Best quality and connecting all of them together is so easy. I love having music throughout my entire house, all controlled by my phone through the Sonos app. Highly recommend

We purchased five of these to use in five different rooms (replacing older speakers) and are very pleased with the quality of the audio. The feature for calibrating sound gives these speakers really seems to give this system an advantage over our existing system. We all agreed the quality of the audio throughout the house was improved by adding these into the system. They were also very easy to add to the existing Sonos setup. The step-by-step process worked quickly and easily for all five (only slowed by each one needing a software update before being added).

Glad to have picked these speakers up. Have them in several location around the house. Great to have in a house if you are entertaining OR just listening to some great music.

The Sonos Era 100 delivers impressive sound for its size. Audio is clear, balanced, and fills the room well whether listening to music, podcasts, or background audio throughout the day. Setup was quick through the Sonos app, and connectivity has been seamless. It’s a great standalone speaker and integrates easily into an existing Sonos system. Overall, excellent sound quality in a compact design.

Great sound, Sonos app makes it easy to do on the fly sound adjustments. As they say it does fill the room with sound. My wife and I are in our 60’s,we don’t have the hearing we used to. I spent $$$$ trying to get a good sound for watching TV and movies. The difference between soft voices and the dramatic sound had me constantly adjusting the volume so we could he the dialogue. With the app i adjust it 1 time and I’m done. I could not achieve this with other systems. Love it!,,,

Sonos already had a good thing going with the One speaker, but this levels the experience up significantly. The larger woofer provides deeper, richer bass, and the stereo tweeters give a much wider soundstage and allow you to better distinguish different layers of the music, rather than downmixing to mono like the One and making everything sound like it's coming from a single point in space. You'll be shocked at the quality of sound that comes from this speaker. If you're in the market for something like this, just get one of these. I probably wouldn't consider a One over this, even at its cheaper price, unless you're on a very tight budget. This model is really worth the extra ~$50.

I do wish I had Google Assistant still, that’s a big miss in my opinion and it would be great to have chromecast cast support. I uses ordered my 6th of these speakers for another room. These speakers sound great. One can cover a good size room, but ideally get two and make them a stereo pair. They sound great as a pair and will handle a really large space. For awhile Sonos had some big reliability issues. They issued a very poor software update that messed up their app, removed some popular features, and also affected speaker reliability. BUT that has been fixed now all of us that use Sonos a lot are back to loving our products. It was a rare misstep for Sonos and I think they've learned their lesson. O also have a couple of Sonos Amps and one of their Ports connected to a separate amp. They all play well together now. Sonos is back to being the best in whole-house audio. I recommend these.

Amazing sound!!! Purchased this last week loved so much just picked up a second one, perfect for my Sonos arc and sub
