I bought six of these Sonos speakers to be used in a 4000 sq foot location. I read that each speaker can fill a 250 sq foot space maximum. Doing the math, that would mean I would need to buy 16 speakers. Glad I only bought six and not 16 because they’re very powerful and strong with excellent sound quality. They easily connected to via the Sonos app (not the Sonos 1 app) and they connected with each other seamlessly. BestBuy had a sale going at the time so I bought them at a really good price. Perfect! I was actually surprise by how good the Sonos speaker was . The sound is all around good . The vocals in music and movies are super crisp regardless of treble or bass . The medium tones are smooth and not broken up regardless of how loud the speaker is out and was very good on the bass . The bass is very good and also doesn’t distort the clarity of medium or high notes and still keeps it tump. Does very well even if it is put in the center of a room or if you would like it to project sound in only 1 direction it has a setting in its app for that . It’s definitely great for a budget or replacement for a in home theater sound system

Loving how they sound and the wireless setup. However, setup wasn’t so easy due to network issues. Sonos support eventually was able to help and get things working

Sitting in the living room and watching an Avengers movie feels like I’m experiencing a real alien invasion straight from my couch. I seriously don’t think I’d ever trust any other speaker brand to give me that type of experience. I’ve got two of these, a subwoofer, and a soundbar by Sonos and they’re all peak.

I was so excited to install and set it up. It’s nice and compact but deliver the sound expectation I was hoping for.

Has a nice full sound that I like better than the Era 300. Playing them both together is the best! They fill in each other's weak spots. Very easy to set up, but the phone app loses connection every once in a while. It seems better on iOS than Android, but on iOS you can't use the volume buttons on the phone to adjust the speaker like on Android. Overall, I would recommend this Era 100 over the 300 for the difference in cost, plus I enjoy the sound a little more. And you can almost afford two of them for the price of the 300!

I’ve been using the Sonos One SL as my surround sound (rear speakers) for two years, and honestly, they never felt like they were on! I’d constantly have to put my ear right up to them just to figure out what sound was coming out. I’d mess with the app, trying to adjust the volume, but it never really sounded right. Then one day, while randomly scrolling through Best Buy, I came across reviews for the Era 100s. One review stood out—it mentioned the same issue I had with the One SL, that they barely sounded like they were on. That was all I needed to hear. On a rainy night, I headed to Best Buy, excited to see how big of an upgrade the Era 100s really were. Let me tell you—they’re AMAZING! Once I set them up, I immediately used the Trueplay feature in the app to tune them, and now I’m finally hearing all the sounds I was missing. The rear audio is so immersive, it feels like I’m in the middle of the action. I paired them with my new Arc Ultra, and it’s pure movie heaven! If you’re coming from the One SL like I was, I 100% recommend upgrading to the Era 100s. You won’t regret it! Let me know if this review helped you! I have ERA 100s all over my house, in some rooms its. part of a surround set up and in others they are stereo speakers mainly for music. These are great little speakers - great bass - good dynamic range and soundstage esp for their size and price. Couple that with the room to room flexibility of Sonos and its n wonder I own like 10 of these.

I am very invested into Sonos for my home. I have 5 complete rooms. I own the SL's, the ERA 100, and ERA 300. I really like the ERA 100's. The price especially when on sale . You're not going to feel cheated with this speaker.

Sonos already had a good thing going with the One speaker, but this levels the experience up significantly. The larger woofer provides deeper, richer bass, and the stereo tweeters give a much wider soundstage and allow you to better distinguish different layers of the music, rather than downmixing to mono like the One and making everything sound like it's coming from a single point in space. You'll be shocked at the quality of sound that comes from this speaker. If you're in the market for something like this, just get one of these. I probably wouldn't consider a One over this, even at its cheaper price, unless you're on a very tight budget. This model is really worth the extra ~$50.

Perfect addition to my home theater. Paired with sonos arc and sub movies come alive. Also, music sounds great.

We purchased five of these to use in five different rooms (replacing older speakers) and are very pleased with the quality of the audio. The feature for calibrating sound gives these speakers really seems to give this system an advantage over our existing system. We all agreed the quality of the audio throughout the house was improved by adding these into the system. They were also very easy to add to the existing Sonos setup. The step-by-step process worked quickly and easily for all five (only slowed by each one needing a software update before being added).

Good sound quality and easy to use as surround for TV.

Coming from Sony a5000 and a7000 You actually hear more sounds and can adjust the volume on their app. Quick and easy. And sound quality is amazing. Would have gotten the era 300 but to big for current room.

Great sound, Sonos app makes it easy to do on the fly sound adjustments. As they say it does fill the room with sound. My wife and I are in our 60’s,we don’t have the hearing we used to. I spent $$$$ trying to get a good sound for watching TV and movies. The difference between soft voices and the dramatic sound had me constantly adjusting the volume so we could he the dialogue. With the app i adjust it 1 time and I’m done. I could not achieve this with other systems. Love it!,,,
