I got this speaker as a add on to make surround speakers for my sonos beam they preform great the dolby atmos i get from them when watching movies is incredible this is a great easy way to get surround sound in your home

Amazing sound. Do you go with 2 300s or 100s for surrounds? That's the most common question. If you are looking to add on surround or upgrading from say Play1s, the 100s are absolutely the best route to go. 300's are very expensive for 1 unit are awesome speakers, but when in surround mode, the center speaker on the 300 is disabled intentionally. You also have to position the 300s in a certain way in order to get the full effect of Atmos, For the 100s, you can sit them right behind you, internal speakers are not disabled so why spend $800 for 2 300s when you can spend half that for 2 100s?!

The Era 100 Speaker has exceptional sound quality, an easy setup process, and a compact size. I have not had any problems with this speaker due to the software issues from Sonos.

Fantastic sound quality and VOLUME for such a small package. More than able to fill a large living space on its own. Paired it with our arc sonos soundbar and it's fantastic going between rooms with the sound perfectly synced. Only downside is that it doesn't support apple music directly, only through the app.

Great speakers to complement my Sonos soundbar .I called tech support to help me with the installation and they were fantastic.They were very patient and easy to communicate with.

The Era 100s are an amazing addition to any room. I have one in my main bedroom and a pair of rear speakers in my office. They alone sound great, but together, they sound phenomenal. I suggest getting a pair of these instead of just one Era 300. Although they sound great, the Era 100s have better bass and, as a pair, better sound coverage. I have also compared them to the JBL Authentics 200, and they are evenly matched for their size. Although the JBL has better bass, the Era 100 has better acoustics. Not enough can be said for these small speakers because they pack a powerful punch for their size.

Great speaker. Connects directly to you music streaming service Apple Music,Spotify etc. it also connects thru Bluetooth. And when paired with another speaker era100 sound is incredible

This makes 5 Sonos speakers I have now. Best quality and connecting all of them together is so easy. I love having music throughout my entire house, all controlled by my phone through the Sonos app. Highly recommend

I encountered difficulties in establishing a seamless connection, which somewhat hindered the overall user experience. Despite the connectivity issues, once successfully paired, the Sonos Era 100 Speaker offers a wide range of customization options through the app, allowing users to fine-tune the audio to their preferences. The ability to control different aspects of the sound, such as equalization and volume, adds a layer of flexibility that audiophiles will appreciate. In conclusion, the Sonos Era 100 Speaker is a commendable choice for those who prioritize audio quality. For a plug-in 10 watt, 4.5 pound, 7" speaker, the Era 100 speaker does a decent job with crisp highs, mellow midrange, and fairly good bass response with some punch for a basic 250 square foot living room with 8' ceiling. (I do not think that the speaker will be adequate enough to "fill" a larger space with cathedral ceiling.) Even though you have to plug-in the speaker (no battery), there are some really nice features, e.g., pairing with other Sonos speakers. I received this speaker as a holiday gift, and mainly set it up using AirPlay and Alexa. I really love the really nice feature of the manual adjustable equalizer. (I have not fully utilized all of the Trueplay feature, yet.)

As always with Sonos products, excellent sound, ease of use, and connectivity. To my untrained ear, it doesn't sound that different from the Sonos One it replaced, but still an excellent choice.

Bought 2 for each bed room and in love with them. They are loud and super clear. Size is perfect for a lot of places. I plan on add 2 more for rear speaker in my living room in the future.

I have four of these. Two as stereo pair in the kitchen. Amazing sound. Two as rears in my tv room. It’s more subtle in that use case but does enhance the movie experience. Setup is easy. Sound is great!

Bought this speaker to replace an Echo Dot. I know they aren’t comparable but the Sonos Era 100 sounds so much better. The voice controls and set up takes getting used to after having Alexa’s for years but it was worth changing.

What an amazing speaker! Very full sound, easly connects to wither Bluetooth or WiFi. Just note its aloby AC lowered which was fine for me.

I was impressed by the size, though I found out after calling SONOS, that unlike the 300 series that lay parallel against the wall, these are better facing your seating position. So face the logos towards your headrest, ...and you may have to adjust the level of the rears as the Tru play app put these particular speakers too low so I bumped them up a few notches. I am comparing them to the 300s I put in another room for my rears, and these were tuned to my liking with the Tru play app and if it were not for me installing my 300's first, I might not have known that simply going to the Sonos app, adjusting rear surround levels, after Tru play, can improve your listening experience.
