Actually, sounds better than the 300 side by side. Just does not pair for surround sound. But for filling the room and sounding good at max levels, solid price point (when on sale)

Sonos already had a good thing going with the One speaker, but this levels the experience up significantly. The larger woofer provides deeper, richer bass, and the stereo tweeters give a much wider soundstage and allow you to better distinguish different layers of the music, rather than downmixing to mono like the One and making everything sound like it's coming from a single point in space. You'll be shocked at the quality of sound that comes from this speaker. If you're in the market for something like this, just get one of these. I probably wouldn't consider a One over this, even at its cheaper price, unless you're on a very tight budget. This model is really worth the extra ~$50.

Great sound, Sonos app makes it easy to do on the fly sound adjustments. As they say it does fill the room with sound. My wife and I are in our 60’s,we don’t have the hearing we used to. I spent $$$$ trying to get a good sound for watching TV and movies. The difference between soft voices and the dramatic sound had me constantly adjusting the volume so we could he the dialogue. With the app i adjust it 1 time and I’m done. I could not achieve this with other systems. Love it!,,,

I bought these Sonos Era 100 speakers to be used as rear channels in my Sonos system in the living room. They replace a pair of Sonos SL Ones. The Sonos Era 100 is an appreciable upgrade; particular for music playback. I like them so much I am thinking of buying a few more to be used in other rooms of the house for an expanded system. Thumbs up!

This is by far the most amazing speaker! It has such a rich sound. I love the improved performance of the stereo sound. I can easily recommend it to anyone! I do wish I had Google Assistant still, that’s a big miss in my opinion and it would be great to have chromecast cast support. I really like that it has airplay and Sonos voice control because both of those works seamlessly. I’d love to see a Sonos 100 sl in the future!

This is my second Sonos in the house and I haven't hooked up to alexa. The functionality is fabulous and the sound out of it is incredible it's almost like surround sound in the room

I love Sonos, when paired with my arc ultra and sub it is hands-down the best surround sound I’ve ever owned. I only wish I had the money to put one in my bedroom and one down in my family room.

I uses ordered my 6th of these speakers for another room. These speakers sound great. One can cover a good size room, but ideally get two and make them a stereo pair. They sound great as a pair and will handle a really large space. For awhile Sonos had some big reliability issues. They issued a very poor software update that messed up their app, removed some popular features, and also affected speaker reliability. BUT that has been fixed now all of us that use Sonos a lot are back to loving our products. It was a rare misstep for Sonos and I think they've learned their lesson. O also have a couple of Sonos Amps and one of their Ports connected to a separate amp. They all play well together now. Sonos is back to being the best in whole-house audio. I recommend these.

Love these speakers. They were meant to be in stereo, so buy two of them. Bought for my apartment room and they have full sound for WIFI streaming from my iphone. Working great over bluetooth from my Samsung TV as well. Surprising powerful bass for the size. Give these a try!

I purchased two Sonos Era 100s for pairing with a new Sonos Beam (Gen 2) to improve my surround sound audio setup. It can have some lag when initially connecting to my TCL television and my Apple TV, but sound quality is great for my needs.

Im loving the volune and sound quality of this speaker. I purchased this to replace my Echo Dot. My only conplaint is that the voice recognition is not sensitive enough. I find myself having to elevate my voice even in a quiet room to be picked up. A huge plus is that it pairs very well with my Sonos Ray. I definitely reccomend this item.

3rd times a charm!! After a DOA Sony xg300 and a Bose smart speaker 500 that sounded like a sub in a rattley trunk after 1 song I ended up getting the Era 100 and I'm impressed!! It gets reasonably loud and stays clear from 10% to 100% with very good dynamic range. Pros-it sounds good and puts out decent bass while keeping the mids and highs clear and solid Cons-Could be just a tad louder at 100% volume,and the addition of a battery would make this a fantastic bargain speaker Side note the best buy worker raved about Sonos and showed me the new display they had ,was extremely impressed!!! I think a era 300 is next !!

As always with Sonos products, excellent sound, ease of use, and connectivity. To my untrained ear, it doesn't sound that different from the Sonos One it replaced, but still an excellent choice.

I'm from the tower speaker/AV receiver world and I'm extremely impressed with these speakers, especially when paired for stereo. I see a Sonos sub-mini in my future to top off the grouping.

Bought these to replace HomePod minis that wouldn’t connect to the internet no matter what I did. I’m very happy with these. I have two connected as a pair to my computer via Bluetooth and use them as both my computer speaker as well as to listen to music from. Because it’s Bluetooth I find sometimes one fades every once in awhile but it is minimal and expected. They were so easy to get started too. The app was simple and they paired right away. Would definitely purchase again.
