sound perfect Title: Impressive Sound Quality, Yet Connectivity Issues I recently had the opportunity to experience the Sonos Era 100 Speaker, and I must say, its audio performance left a lasting impression. I encountered difficulties in establishing a seamless connection, which somewhat hindered the overall user experience. Despite the connectivity issues, once successfully paired, the Sonos Era 100 Speaker offers a wide range of customization options through the app, allowing users to fine-tune the audio to their preferences. I love Sonos, when paired with my arc ultra and sub it is hands-down the best surround sound I’ve ever owned. I only wish I had the money to put one in my bedroom and one down in my family room.

Fantastic sound quality and VOLUME for such a small package. More than able to fill a large living space on its own. Paired it with our arc sonos soundbar and it's fantastic going between rooms with the sound perfectly synced. Only downside is that it doesn't support apple music directly, only through the app.

So I’ve heard this speaker on its own several times and it is fantastic! And I imagine pairing it with another speaker for stereo sound to play music would be amazing as well. With all that being said, I did not like at all how this paired with the rest of my Sonos system to create a surround sound. The major problem I had was the fact that it turned my Sonos beam into practically a voice only speaker. With about 70% of the audio coming through the era 100s. I tried tinkering with it in the app and it still did not help increase the volume of the beam gen 2. And so for that matter I returned these. The gist of this review would be, great for music and not so great for home cinema. I will preface this by saying that I do live in a small apartment, but even with the true sound feature it could never get it right to my liking

Ease of setup and easy to use with my existing homepods via AirPlay

Great sound. Easy to install. Looks nice and almost disappears from view in the room. Perfect.

Perfect for my needs. I replaced a Sonos One with this Era 100. I have this in the great room to pair with two Fives for music listening everyday. The sound is clear with bass and vocals sounding balanced, and the overall sound in the room is much improved. Super easy to add to my existing Sonos system. Highly recommend!

This unit is absolutely amazing. The sound quality is unparalleled for just a Bluetooth speaker and being able to connect to multiple Sonos brand speakers and sound bars is fantastic and the ease of use I’m sure it’s perfect, but none text savvy potential users. Another most amazing thing is able to connect to major receiver brands with their Bluetooth function with Sonos compatibility. I would definitely recommend this we meant to anyone.

Amazing sound and easy to set up and connect. do it

I recently upgraded my soundbar to the SONOS Arc Ultra from an original Arc. My old rear speakers would no longer work with the Arc Ultra, so this came down to the Era 100 or 300s. For the cost and use case, the Era 100s are perfect in this situation. I only use these as rear speakers and do not need all the extras that the Era 300s provide. The Era 100s produce crisp, clear rear sounds, completing the setup. Not to mention that they are less than half o fthe Era 300s in cost, about a 1/3 of the size - who wants large bulky rear speakers, and they look great.

This makes 5 Sonos speakers I have now. Best quality and connecting all of them together is so easy. I love having music throughout my entire house, all controlled by my phone through the Sonos app. Highly recommend

I bought these Sonos Era 100 speakers to be used as rear channels in my Sonos system in the living room. They replace a pair of Sonos SL Ones. The Sonos Era 100 is an appreciable upgrade; particular for music playback. I like them so much I am thinking of buying a few more to be used in other rooms of the house for an expanded system. Thumbs up!

I got 2 of these during a sale. They elevated my surround sound! They sound amazing watchung mivues and listening to music. The setup is also really easy and straightforward.

Awesome sounds, easy set up ..makes movies and sporting events come to life

If you’ve seen anything else I’ve written, I piece by piece added to my Sonos Beam in my basement. I got two of these to pair with a Beam and the mini sub. I had gone back and forth between the 100 and 300, and am glad I went with the 100. My room is narrow and I’m not a true audiophile, so the extra speakers weren’t a necessary thing. Adding the pair to the app was simple. Using the app to sort of configure the spatial part of the system makes you look silly when your wife catches you doing it, but it does a really good job of building encompassing sound. Whether it’s Dolby Atmos movies or just music to clean to, it has been a welcome addition.

Good extension to our surround system. Easy to add to our Sonos ecosystem. For people like me that need some additional "volume" from their TV, especially for heavy dialogue scenes these help to solve that issue. Two sitting behind me on the couch work really well when the house is in chaos from kids and I am trying to hear what is being said. Features are also nice - able to use them separately from TV to play music. With the adapter will also connect a turntable and play some records. There are some options through the Sonos app that I wish were more thought out but thats not necessarily a concern of the speakers but could impact your enjoyment. Being able to speak to control volume is also a nice feature.

I’ve been using the Sonos One SL as my surround sound (rear speakers) for two years, and honestly, they never felt like they were on! I’d constantly have to put my ear right up to them just to figure out what sound was coming out. I’d mess with the app, trying to adjust the volume, but it never really sounded right. Then one day, while randomly scrolling through Best Buy, I came across reviews for the Era 100s. One review stood out—it mentioned the same issue I had with the One SL, that they barely sounded like they were on. That was all I needed to hear. On a rainy night, I headed to Best Buy, excited to see how big of an upgrade the Era 100s really were. Let me tell you—they’re AMAZING! Once I set them up, I immediately used the Trueplay feature in the app to tune them, and now I’m finally hearing all the sounds I was missing. The rear audio is so immersive, it feels like I’m in the middle of the action. I paired them with my new Arc Ultra, and it’s pure movie heaven! If you’re coming from the One SL like I was, I 100% recommend upgrading to the Era 100s. You won’t regret it! Let me know if this review helped you! Works well, really like that it has Bluetooth so you really don't have to use the Sonos software, just use Bluetooth from iPhone or Android. Sound is quite good for such a small speaker. Even has a microphone if you want to talk to it (not sure if it does Google or Amazon Alexa, I'm not using that part).

The sound quality is amazing. Very crisp with enough bass to even out the sound. Setup was a breeze. If you want to music loud or ambient level it will satisfy both needs well.

I was actually surprise by how good the Sonos speaker was . The sound is all around good . The vocals in music and movies are super crisp regardless of treble or bass . The medium tones are smooth and not broken up regardless of how loud the speaker is out and was very good on the bass . The bass is very good and also doesn’t distort the clarity of medium or high notes and still keeps it tump. Does very well even if it is put in the center of a room or if you would like it to project sound in only 1 direction it has a setting in its app for that . It’s definitely great for a budget or replacement for a in home theater sound system
