    Even by Sonos standards, the Five is expensive. What it does have that sets it apart, however, is a turntable line-in. Connect this to a turntable with a pre-amp, and it will play your records immediately, without any need to use the app - exactly as if it were a standard speaker.

    This speaker really cranks out some good sound! The clarity is amazing. I have a few of these speakers and they exceed my expectations for sound quality. I would certainly buy this speaker again.

    I have the Sonos Five paired with the Sonos Arc. The sound is amazing on its own, but is even better when they work together. It is pricey but definitely worth every penny.

    Our second play 5, gen2. We use it with our other play 5. Easy to set up with our Sonos system. We ike the Sonos products and system but they need to lower the prices.

    Works like a champ and Using a Apple iPhone and not a Samsung phone, took for ever to setup using an Samsung phone. FYI: Using a Apple iPhone took sec's to setup if you will.

    I replaced my old 5 to convert to Sonos 2 app. It is a substantial upgrade from the old 5’s sound quality. Price-wise it is an investment but the product lives up to the price tag. Very pleased.

    Definitely an upgrade from the Sonos SL for music but a bit of an overkill for a surround sound setup. Punchy bass and clarity. I bought two but one was abuse from an open box. Currently have it in my office playing just music. Expensive but great for ease of use and playing music through the house on the Sonos ecosytem.

    Great sound all the way around. Don’t need voice control. Had Bose Home Speaker 500, and this definitely bears it, worth the price difference to me.

    I bought this speaker to replace an old receiver with no blue tooth and to save space. It works great with Alexa to play XM radio which is about all I listen to now. The sound quality is awesome.
