Posted .Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We're very sorry for the one star for this reason as Move is not designed to plug into a record player as its a portable speaker. We do have solutions to work with your record player and then you can group the Move (and other Sonos speakers) with it to listen to your records wirelessly. If that's something you want, we would recommend looking into the Sonos Port.

Posted .Thank you for your review, The Sonos Move is intended as a portable wifi/bluetooth speaker and not to be directly connected to a receiver/cd player. In some cases customers connect a Sonos Port to an audio out on a receiver and then broadcast that sound to other Sonos products.

We’ve integrated it with our Alexa and can easily use the Bluetooth feature so anyone can use their music apps. We love this speaker!

We have a large patio and had a event with 40 people or so and the music could be heard easily over everyone’s talking. I would definitely recommend this speaker!

When going out on the patio or garage, I used to unplug one of the Sonos 1 speakers to plug in outside. Even though they are expensive, we decided to try a Move for a big family picnic we were having. Bestbuy shipped it quick and we’ll packaged. The Move is amazing with sound full, clear and befitting of the Sonos name. We love it and our only disappointment was we did not buy it sooner. BTW, we did also try the less expensive Sonos Roam…no comparison if you want depth and gusto in your music.
