This thing is FANTASTIC! We were looking at doing the whole shebang outside with mounted speakers, running wire, amps you know all that stuff. We were at a local restaurant and they had one of these out on their patio and we were blown away with how good it sounded. Bought one and love the interconnectivity with our other Sonos speakers. Can have the whole house rocking to music through the app. This thing is great! Get one if you can find one!

Excellent full sound and easy set up. It fills the room with great sound and have had no issues charging.

Returned. Really nice sound at low volume, and I love that they work on WiFi so no dropouts or Bluetooth glitches, but they just don’t have enough power to use in my backyard. I bought two and set them up as a stereo pair, but I just couldn’t get enough frequency range. You have to turn them up to 80-100% volume and at that point you mostly get the mid and high frequency range with not enough low frequency to fill out the music. They’re really nice if you just plan to use them on low volume and for music that doesn’t need power. I returned them and bought two Hyperbooms. Whoa, I’ve never turned these up over 60% vol and the cover a lot of frequency range with tremendous power. These two speakers don’t even belong in the same comparable categ. The Hyperboom is a whole different world. Yes, they’re only bluetooth, but I chose better sound with the Hyperboom over the convenience of WiFi with sonos. If you’re looking to play some high resolution audio, want to play over WiFi to avoid glitches, and don’t care about the volume, power or fill frequency range (mostly low end), then the sonos move might be your choice.

Huge sound with great portability. We use it in the house from room to room as well as out in our backyard.

I have had the Sonos Move for several days and I have listened to streaming music for many hours. This speaker is indeed impressive for sound quality in wifi mode. This is a rather expensive speaker, however, the quality of sound of steaming music, in my opinion justifies the cost. I purchased two of these speakers so I am in stereo mode all of the time. The higher quality of HD streaming would determine the sound. I have not used the Bluetooth mode so I will not make any comments about that.

This is by FAR the best portable speaker I've owned, and I've owned many, many portable speakers. Incredible sound, sure it's big and on the heavy side but it is a great purchase if you want the best sound possible and I'm not talking vs portable speakers, this sounds as good, if not better, than many wired speakers, it's that good. Is it expensive, yes, but if you can get past the price point, I don't know how you would be disappointed with the sound and build quality.

Unit has great sound, and works well in our pool area. Easy to connect. I will review further as I buy more SONOS speakers.
