It gives you a full sound without taking up any space. We could not get it to consistently play sound when connected to our TV so I guess it's our loss. Otherwise it is a great speaker.

Holding Charge - Power Issue

The power is great too. Unfortunately it does not hold its charge between uses. That is because of some type of design flaw. The speaker turns itself on randomly from time to time. Whenever I notice this I turn the speaker back off. Other times I do not notice quick enough and discharges. Then it’s dead when I want to use it. A portable speaker that is regularly dead is not useful. I suppose I could keep it charging constantly, but that should not be necessary.

Posted .Hi, and thank you very much for your review! We think what's happening is that your speaking is only being put to sleep, and not powered off completely. When you use the Sonos app, it turns the speaker back on so that you have a seamless experience when you'd like to use it. This can also drain the battery as well as the speaker is in a "low power state" which still uses battery. To power off completely, turn the Move off by holding the power button on the back down for 3-5 seconds. It will then make a sound to let you know it's been turned off. That should fix the concerns you have! Thank you so much for buying a Move and we hope you enjoy it!

Great Whole House System

They provide us with an excellent whole house music system. The move allows me to take the music out into my garage workshop. We couldn’t be happier with the system.
