Customers are saying

Customers commend the Move Smart Portable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Speaker's superb sound quality, particularly its amazing bass and impressive volume. Its portability and long battery life are also frequently praised, making it a convenient and versatile option. However, some customers find the speaker's weight and size to be drawbacks, and a few mention that the price point may be relatively high. The speaker's ease of setup is also a positive aspect noted by some users.

    Gorgeous Sound Wherever You Go!

I had been eyeing this speaker for a long time, doing a lot of research on which Sonos speaker would be best for my home. I am so glad I went with the Move, as it does go with me around my home on a daily basis, including out to my patio. We have a pretty open layout, though, so even if I leave the Move on the dock I can hear it throughout most of my house. The clarity, tone, and volume are all fantastic. This speaker shows off with great mid-range and bumping bass. No matter the genre of music we listen to, it sounds gorgeous... like it's on a much more expensive speaker. The sound *far* exceeds what I would expect from a portable speaker. I plan to buy a second speaker to keep docked in another part of the house and pair with this one. We don't have alexa nor google assistant enabled on this speaker, but I was glad to know I would be able to use it without these features if I wanted to. We are mostly using Spotify for our speaker, but have also enjoyed the channels on the Sonos app itself.

I love Sonos overall for the sound quality, convenience, and appearance. I added this "Move" to use on our patio or in the garage, which I plan to do when it gets warmer. Now I use it to move around the house to add more sound to a room with another speaker, or, just to pick it up and carry it to my new location without having to switch rooms on my stationary speakers via the Sonos app. The battery life is a bit shorter than expected, but I mean days not hours so it certainly should last through a patio-sitting before needing a recharge. Love it!

One of the better sounding Sonos products & can be used in Bluetooth mode. Plus it is portable & can use outdoors with approx 10 hour battery life.

The sound quality of the new Sonos Move speaker is excellent - rich, full, and clear. And, as its name implies, the speaker is very easy to move around. During the day, we put it on our upper deck, and the music can be heard everywhere in our garden. Then at night, we put the speaker back on its base to recharge. The only concern we have is that, as the accompanying instructions warn, the speaker shouldn't get wet (left in the rain or in a garden while watering or by a pool). But with that little precaution, we have been very happy with this product.

A great speaker. We own a few HomePods. We are heavily invest4ed in the  ecosystem but I wanted a speaker that produced great sound and was wireless thus portable enough to move from space to space. We are very pleased with the purchase. The sound is really great for a "portable" speaker. The Sonos app is easy to use. I did have a few hiccups when reconnecting but not sure if that is due to the Sonos being registered on different devices. The speaker's heft is very solid and well crafted. A great speaker.

I’m a big fan of Sonos products. I would have more of them if they weren’t so expensive! That being said you get what you pay for. Great sound quality and I love the fact you can pair with other Sonos products to have music in multiple rooms or areas of your house. Battery lasts most of the day

I have owned a lot of portable speakers and the Sonos Move is by far the best on many levels. Superior sound and battery life. Awesome sound range including a nice bass punch packed in this small, portable package. One top of it all, it is splash proof and sand proof. Perfect for the beach!

I think this is hands down the best WiFi/Bluetooth speaker on the market. It’s responsive, sounds great and flawlessly integrates into your Sonos ecosystem...and it had better for $399. The True Sound technology is great and adds a ton of value to the speaker performance. Yeah it’s a bit heavy and this isn’t really something you will want to take with you on trips. But if you want to take it in and out of your house to the pool/patio/deck...it’s ideal.

    My favorite Sonos speaker

I don’t yet own the Sonos Roam but this is my favorite most versatile speaker in the Sonos lineup. I also own the Sonos Arc, Beam, Sub, and Play 1. The sound is fantastic and I would rate it above a Play 1 or One because of the enhanced bass response. I plan to buy the Sonos Roam soon as my go-to travel speaker but I love using the Move around the house (inside and outside). To me it’s worth the money if you’ve already bought into the Sonos ecosystem (or even if this is your first Sonos speaker).

I really enjoy this speaker. I love the fact you can take it anywhere. I bought two of these so I could use them in my backyard. I didn’t want permanent mounted speakers placed in my backyard so I went with this option. It gives me the freedom to place sound in my backyard where I need it without making sound in other areas I may not want it. The bonus is that you can take them on trips wherever you want to. The battery life is pretty good and the sound quality and loudness is great. Two of these fill my entire backyard with quality sound.

The Sonos Move is exactly what we were looking for. We wanted a speaker that would complement our existing setup indoors that we could take out in the yard if we wanted to have tunes out there too. The sound from it is amazing, we don't typically even listen to it on high volume outside because we try to be courteous neighbors. It is a little heavy, so I don't think it would be something you'd want to haul with you to the beach or on a hike. Also, it's a little pricey, but our other Sonos products have lasted a long time, so we factored that in as well.

You will be amazed! We picked this awesome gem up for our pool area, just seemed easier. Let me tell you, its gone all over the house now! We are now listening to more music because of the Sonos! The bottom end (Bass) is incredible! The set up is a little to be honest! You're asked to download the app, there you can control the volume, the choice of streaming service you would like to use and it uses WIFI. OR, you can simply connect using BlueTooth, and you wont have to use the Sonos app. Once you figure out what works best for you and your needs, its golden!

There are wireless bluetooth/wi-fi speakers, and then there are Sonos speakers. These fill the room, have all the frequencies, and it looks great. Then I surprise my friends when I simply pick it up and move it to the room or patio as we go. I use it with Alexa and Amazon music - works great. Sometimes hard to tell her which playlist I want played. Maybe a good idea to label playlists as 'Playlist Alpha', number 4, or whatever. Sometimes if you have to spell out a whole sentence description she gets confused.

If you love music everywhere you go then get the Move by SONOS. Great for your office and wherever you may move your office to like outside for a few hours or a day, it can easily move with you and will last a long time with the built in battery so no cords needed when on the move. And with the smart speaker that is built inside it will adjust to any room or outdoor area you move it to automatically providing your music of choice with the best sounding environment. Its a little pricey but for a true music lover it is well worth the price!

Extremely high quality and excellent sound. It's a great option if you are already invested in the Sonos space, but there are many less expensive options available from other brands that offer similar quality if the investment is too great. By far the best aspect of the Move is portability, but if you don't plan on moving it around there are certainly better values out there. You will likely also have to replace the battery in the Move within 3 years, according to Sonos, so keep that expense is mind for down the line.
