My only issue(s) is the weight and how for some reason if I take it away from home It takes forever for it to work/connect to Bluetooth.

Move works well in kitchen & on patio

I take it out to the patio. I use the Sonos app to play XM stations. Wifi option works. I cannot get the Bluetooth option to work.

It fell short in the high end. Highs like bells and triangle sounded muted. I have The Arc, Sub and Ones and they impress. The Move...not so much. Returned the product.

I have literally and verifiably have purchased about $8,000 worth of Sonos speakers and product. Recently Sonos has prevented older models of speakers such as Gen1 Play 5 incompatible with the new Sonos system. That said you can be running newer and older speakers, but they are no longer able to work together on the same app interface, which completely defeats the purpose. I literally have 5 speakers that no longer work with my newer units. I called Sonos and they offered me a whole whopping $100 discount on my next purchase. I will never buy from them again.

Posted .Hi, and thanks for your review! As you know, earlier this year we launched our S2 platform, leaving a some products only compatible with S1. (more info on compatibility here: https://support.sonos.com/s/article/4786?language=en_US)
The reason for this is that the older products just didn't have the hardware needed for us to continue to innovate. Think of your cell phone from 2006 running software made for your phone within the last year. We wouldn't expect that to work, and it's the same with any technology.
To your point, we do want to be as loyal to customers like you as possible. Which is why we are still working hard to support all of our s1 products with security patches and bug fixes. Not many other tech companies would consider supporting 15 year old products. We do understand the inconvenience of splitting the system, (like group inability) which is why we offer 30% off of our products for trade up which is another benefit that is above industry standards.
