Customers are saying

Customers commend the Move Smart Portable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Speaker's superb sound quality, particularly its amazing bass and impressive volume. Its portability and long battery life are also frequently praised, making it a convenient and versatile option. However, some customers find the speaker's weight and size to be drawbacks, and a few mention that the price point may be relatively high. The speaker's ease of setup is also a positive aspect noted by some users.

I have three Sonos Ones, a Sonos Roam, and one Move. They all work great except for the Move, which will not stay connected to wifi. I can only use it as a Bluetooth speaker, as it cuts out constantly on wifi. I have mived it all around, and I typically use it within 12 ft. of my router. Sad performance from a $400 speaker.

I could not get it to connect to my WiFi or Alexa App. Customer support from Sonos was terrible. All they did was read from the support page that I have previously followed.

I expected more sound for the money and store hype. Contacts for charging were spotty at best, so there was a lot of juggling to get it to charge. Not impressed.

Apple HomePod original sounds amazingly better, though it’s not portable. Too high priced for what ya get.

Sonos is noted for great sound, the Move is no exception. Clarity and deep base that surpasses all but their sound bar. I have a couple of Sonos one speakers that sound great but the Move is noticeably better. It comes with a charging ring for keeping the battery charged. It is also the first Sonos product with simple to use Bluetooth built in. Simply press the button on the back of the speaker and you are in bluetooth mode, the light on the top changes from white to blue to confirm. While testing it out, I used Bluetooth and took the speaker outside with me while I did some lawn work. After 5 hour of continuous play the fully charged battery was at 69% remaining. That was with the volume turned up. I imagine it would easily go 12 hours at full volume, remarkable for a portable speaker of such quality. The Move is heavier than most portable speakers but has a convenient handle built in for moving it from location to location. Built in voice activation is available and requires the use of the Sonos app to activate. Again very easy. Overall, this is one heck of a portable speaker with outstanding sound and battery life. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a quality portable speaker with Bluetooth and WiFi built in.

Im not enjoying this product as much as I thought I would. It's not very user-friendly, I have a two-story home, and the Alexa or “HeySonos” feature isn’t always compatible unless the device is manually turned on. The battery life is also surprisingly weak. Would have returned but unfortunately missed my window.

I like it but not as well as the other Sonos speakers I have. The main complaint is the volume, it doesn’t seem to go as loud as the others I have in my house

Purchashed for a trip in October 2022. Pain in the butt linking it to wifi initially. Purchased for the portable option and was able to use once on battery and everytime since it wont hold a charge at all. I have to use the base charger which is inconvenient. Lets talk about sound, or lack there of. So disappointing when i turned it on the first time. Only purchased because of hearing in the customers home. Apparently there is a huge difference in 110 application vs battery operated. Which is exactly what i thought so this wasnt a huge surprise but disappointing none the less. For how much this sonos move weighs i was expecting so much more. Do your homework when purchasing a product from a company or you to will be disappointed.
