    Once you have a sonos, you’ll never go back. We have sonos system and continue to add more items into the system. Best idea ever.

    After six months of multiple calls to Sonos’s customer service trying to get my Move to stay connected to my Wi-Fi, they are telling me now that it has to be plugged into an ethernet cable in my wall. That doesn’t make it “move” does it? I’m so irritated and frustrated and now it’s well past the return window and I’m stuck with a $400 useless piece of equipment that is now discounted to 160. Great job, Sonos.

    Can’t connect to mesh wifi

    Does not work with mesh, bluetooth has occasional playback issues with no sound being produced when reconnecting after signal lost due to distance.

    Purchased an open item. Charged it up and used it Poolside and the battery died within 4 hours. Can’t wait for the 2 gen to come out.

    waited 40 days for this....and its defective. :(

    It took 40 days to receive the Move speaker. Lo and behold, I set it up and the speaker is defective, stopping the noise and making static once every 2 seconds or so. Will be returning, I hope this was just a one-off defective product.

    Purchased the Sonos Move from Best Buy online as open box, condition: "excellent" but the item was not "excellent" I received the speaker and that was it. No charger, charging base, or even the original box. I clicked support on my order but it just puts me into a loop on the website. Went on Sonos' website to buy a charger and base and it's $79. No way am I paying for that.

    Have a slightly difficult time initially every time I go to connect but after that it’s perfect. For larger lagoon/block parties we also sync ours with the neighbors sonos speakers for consistency among the houses

    Battery life is terrible! In stand by mode it was dead overnight after a full charge. Apparently a known issue in the Sonos community but I did not see the forum thread before I purchased. Now with a 15 day return policy from Best Buy I am stuck with a so called portable speaker with the worst battery life of any device that I own. It must be returned to the cradle after only a few hours of play or it will be dead the next day! Search Sonos Move battery life and read the horror stories of the $400.00 mistake.

      Hi, and thank you for taking the time to write a review. Remember when you are not using it, and don't want to return it to the charging dock, to hold the power button down for 5 seconds. This will completely power Move down. If you don't do this, Move will enter a low power state, that will turn Move back on if you interact with the Sonos app. This is to make listening even easier, but could have the negative perception of poor battery life. If you have done this and are still experiencing issues, we would love to hear from you. Go to sonos.com/support. From there, you can contact us whichever way you prefer! john.milton
