Customers are saying

Customers commend the Move Smart Portable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Speaker's superb sound quality, particularly its amazing bass and impressive volume. Its portability and long battery life are also frequently praised, making it a convenient and versatile option. However, some customers find the speaker's weight and size to be drawbacks, and a few mention that the price point may be relatively high. The speaker's ease of setup is also a positive aspect noted by some users.

Worth the Black Friday price, but not

Sounds great with my other Sonos speaker. Easy to set up, well built and not too big. The base makes it easy to plug in and just grab and pull it to bring it outside or elsewhere in the house. Does not sound as deep as my more expensive speaker sonos 2 (I think) but when pairing up it brings out the highs very well. Bought it on Black Friday deal with $100 off. Worth every penny at that price point. Would not have purchased at the msrp though.

I replaced my Bose 500 Speaker with like features due to the fact that it was very difficult to connect to the Wi-Fi and kept loosing the signal. The sales person at Bose even had a j037dd74d hard time following the directions to get it to work and said I was right it is difficult. This Sonos speaker was very easy to get started and the customer support was great. I think it sounds better than the Bose 500. Great features, easy installation, with fantastic support makes this a winner.

I purchased the Sonos Move last month and have been extremely happy with the product. I have never owned a Sonos product bit so I was a little hesitant to drop $400 on a portable speaker but all of my worries went out the door once I started playing music through it. It was easy to setup and is really great that it also has a Bluetooth feature when you’re not connected to your home WiFi system. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a top notch portable speaker.

Pricy but sounds great! Portable with Bluetooth is a plus since the others are just wifi connected. I have 4 Sonos speakers now but this one is perfect for taking to the garage or outside and still keep the music going inside.

Invest in a Playbar or Arc and a pair of Sonos One SLs first. Pros: Great sound, long battery life, easy setup. Cons: Cost If you’re invested in the Sonos ecosystem, grab one when they go on sale.

The Move speaker is great for bringing the music to where I need it. Front porch Christmas music. Rock out by the BBQ. Front or back yard, this speaker sounds great and has lasted quite some time on a single charge. I have not put it to the test of up to 10 hours on a single charge at low volume, however 3-4 hours for sure at medium volume works well for me. Full sound with just the single speaker. May consider a second speaker and setting it up as a stereo pair in the future!

Great sound and easy to use. Quickly and easily hooked up via Bluetooth to our Samsung smart TV in our poolhouse. Now the great sounds float across our pool and deck. Directional as well, so our wacko neighbors with poor taste in music are not disturbed.

Love this speaker. Its easy to carry and use as part if my sonos environment or switch to bluetooth. I recently had to use it to provide audio in an AV presentation in a large room. It did a good job at max volume, impressive given its size relative to the room.

We have Sonos speakers throughout our house including the sound bar and sub. My husband kept looking at the move when it first came out and I finally just bought it for him. He uses it every day. We have it hooked up with our speakers in the house and we take it outside when we grill or sit outside. My husband takes it in the bathroom while he showers. It’s even better quality than the regular speakers so if you’re on the fence just buy this speaker.

I have been watching my wife drag a play one outside for a while now. I was thinking about installing a wired outdoor systems or experimenting with some sort of outdoor enclosure for some refurbished play ones. A wired Sonos system would be much more $ even if I purchase 2 moves and you would not get the Alexa integration which is amazing. The integrated DSP is also very effective. This my 4th Sonos speaker and I have been very happy with all of them.

As long-time Apple loyalists, we first tested the HomePod. Apple's is a very good speaker, but in comparison, the sound quality, portability, and amplification of the Sonos won out. Great high end, very decent low end bass from a portable speaker, and it internally, automatically adjusts the acoustic equalizer based on where you place it, i.e. large room, small room, outdoors, etc. All in all, a great speaker, even though it is pricey. Hoping it holds up well.

First I think Sonos has one of the best sound systems out there for the average sound person that doesn’t want to spend high end money on high end sound equipment. So the Move speaker provides excellent quality of sound and battery life. I use it all the time during gardening and working in the yard. It’s easy to turn the volume Up or down without losing sound quality. I usually work in the yard 3-4 hours and the battery doesn’t wear out. Great product!

Wow this speaker really sounds fantatsic and the built in handle and base charger makes it super easy to move around the yard. Previously had a play 5 but that was way too large heavy and required power. SOOOOO glad we got the Move!

Been waiting for Sonos to make a product for outdoors for years! Love the Move. Same Sonos quality we love... sound is fantastic like all of our other Sonos speakers. Love that you can swap between WiFi and Bluetooth. Have used the WiFi at home around the fire pit and been thrilled. Have also travelled with it and used Bluetooth instead. Noticed we haven’t quite gotten the full 10 hours on a charge... more like 9 but great product overall!

You could find a cheaper portable speaker, but it'd be hard to find one as versatile, easy to set up/use, and great sounding as this one. I'm no audio expert, but it sounds way better than most of the portable speakers I researched prior to buying this Sonos. It comes with a soft travel pouch, but if you plan to travel with it, I recommended picking up one of the many custom fit hard cases available for it.

The Sonos Move is an excellent speaker that you can add to your home Sonos system via Wi-Fi or operate in Bluetooth mode to play songs directly to from your iPhone. The sound is great and the fact that it is mobile so you can take it anywhere (like the beach) is awesome. The only ding I give the Move is that Sonos does not allow you to set them up as surround sound speakers. I opened a complaint ticket to Sonos about that!!
