This is the perfect addition to the Sonos system! It's hefty, but the sound quality is wonderful (as to be expected from Sonos), and the docking station is extremely easy to navigate. I am extremely pleased with this purchase.

The positives include the fact that the sound is very good, producing a full amount of bass. The item is well made and will fit in any decor. However, this item is a little heavy to be taking with you on a picnic or any trip that might involve a lot of walking. Further, the battery doesn’t last more than a day of playing, you need to keep it on the charger ring.

As described in the reviews. Easy BT setup. Great sound in a portable package. Really easy to use. Expensive, yes. Build quality is exception. Even the box packaging was top notch.

The speaker is fantastic, the sound quality is great for a wireless speaker, you can move this speaker anywhere in the house or even outdoors for a bbq, I would definitely recommend this speaker to anyone

I think this is a great speaker overall, in terms of portability, sound, and value. I have bought about 8 Sonos speakers in the last 2 years - including One's, 2 Beams, 2 Play:3 (now discontinued). The Move is an interesting device because it can effectively replace the One's or Play:3 - I think it actually sounds better than either of these devices: Louder, more room-filling, with richer bass. Of course, a single Move can't replace a surround sound setup (I have a Beam plus 2 One's in my living room); but if you have a whole home setup, you won't really notice the difference with a Move being the main speaker in a secondary room. The portability aspect of it basically allows you to have 1 device for 2 different areas in the home - the permanent dock serves the room where you use it the most, but you can still carry the Move into a sporadic-use area (like the backyard or bathroom) whenever you'd like. So even at its inflated price point of $399, I would still consider it a better value than buying 2 One's - you're getting better sound plus portability (which you wouldn't get by purchasing 2 standalone One's). I actually bought my Move during Sonos' 20% off summer sale, which makes this an easy purchase. If you're just starting out with the Sonos system, really think about how you'd use the speakers, how you would setup in the home, and strongly consider this device vs getting multiple One's - I think you might be surprised by the versatility of the Move.

Bought this to replace my old Bluetooth speakers (jbl) . Works great both indoors and outdoors . Adjusts for outdoors automatically with auto settings of the voice. Also super long battery life and water proof. Highly recommended

Great sounding product and is built like a tank. Not very portable, but the wireless feature makes it a breeze to move around the house or outside. It's a perfect addition if you are already a part of the Sonos ecosystem. It integrates seamlessly. The Move 2 is better, but if you can find the original for a discount, you can save at least $100 + off of the newer model.

Perfect device for around the pool and while leveraging the Sonos ecosystem. The cost to buy speakers and a Sonos AMP was a bridge too far - where the Move fit perfectly. Great sound and flexibility.

Very good speaker, it is not quite as crisp as my sonos play 1. Has a bit more volume and the battery lasts for a days use out on the patio or in the yard. Wifi range is awesome. So far I have used the wifi signal at least 70 feet from the house, not sure if it will go a greater distance. That is as far as I need. Much better than my other wifi portable by at least 40 feet.

Wow! This speaker has blown me away. I am a bass fanatic and this speaker hits the bass hard without any distortion. The speaker is solidly built, I really like the handle. Well done Sonos!

Two of these speakers can be paired together to creat great stereo sound. I added these to compliment the ceiling patio speakers near the pool. Due to their size, they have a long battery life and they sound great.

Heavier than it looks but so worth the money! Absolutely amazing sound quality along with quick and easy set up!

Big sound, portability, Google Assistant compatibility, what more could you want!?! The was purchased in the late fall in the Northeast so I am looking forward to taking it outdoors during next summer to see how it's portability really works.

Love this speaker. Connects easily to our system plus can use as Bluetooth speaker when at the beach. The size is easy to carry around but big enough to have great sound. Was wanting this for a while. It was worth the wait!

Perhaps Sonos best speaker ever. I have several, and this has become my favorite. Very versatile. Sounds amazing. It's really more transportable than portable, but if you have the budget and the muscle it's worth it.

Love the Sonos system as a whole, these speaker were gifts for my kids. They love to listen to them and the fact they are movable with a long charge is awesome. Great product, a bit heavily than I thought but great.

Amazing sound quality! Fills the room with clear and enjoyable music. You can easily take them room to room, outside, or wherever you travel. Great sounds wherever you take them.

I love love love Sonos. It is my favorite tech purchase ever, and I have 8 zones throughout my home. That being said, the Move is my least favorite of my Sonos devices. The sound is better than a single Play:1 or One but not as good as a stereo pair of Play:1s or Ones. But, I wanted it for its added bluetooth capability, and for that it is a very good bluetooth speaker.

Very convenient with great sound. I can bring this to the dock and listen to tunes while the boats go by and don't have to worry about replacing it because the elements destroyed my outdoor speaker.

Excellent sound, no wires to mess with, but still maintain a clear crisp sound with ability to adjust volume easily. Move from location to location as needed effortlessly. A compliment to their other products.
