This is by FAR the best portable speaker I've owned, and I've owned many, many portable speakers. Incredible sound, sure it's big and on the heavy side but it is a great purchase if you want the best sound possible and I'm not talking vs portable speakers, this sounds as good, if not better, than many wired speakers, it's that good. Is it expensive, yes, but if you can get past the price point, I don't know how you would be disappointed with the sound and build quality.

I have had the Sonos Move for several days and I have listened to streaming music for many hours. This speaker is indeed impressive for sound quality in wifi mode. This is a rather expensive speaker, however, the quality of sound of steaming music, in my opinion justifies the cost. I purchased two of these speakers so I am in stereo mode all of the time. The higher quality of HD streaming would determine the sound. I have not used the Bluetooth mode so I will not make any comments about that.

Great sounding speaker in a small package. I definitely enjoy being able to bring it with us wherever we are.

Sonos makes quality products that sound great. This one is no exception and has the added benefit of being portable.

I like the integration of Alexa and the portability of the speaker. It sounds great and is easy to use. My only complaint is that it's always on, so if it's not plugged in, it will drain the battery in a day or so.

Bought this for a 50-75 person indoor/outdoor patio event that needed subtle music and it was perfect, surprisingly beautiful sound from something portable, even better than expected, sound wise. Added bonus is that it syncs perfectly with the set up of multiple One's already around our house, so we can take the tunes outside w/out bothering with moving & setting up another One out there, which also requires an outlet. I can see why some people think this is too big for something to cart around to the beach or picnic, and it is unless it's exactly what you wanted at the beach or picnic. I think the intent was a speaker to compliment an existing Sonos set up that's actually portable. You can always get the Roam for something smaller and lighter, and lower cost. In this case, I got what I paid for and I'm very happy with it.

Great sound, long battery life, haven't had it out in the rain, but it's held up to the other elements just fine.
