Bose better watch out, there's a new king in town!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought the black one of this last year along with the Bose Home one that was released around the same time last year. I was skeptical when a Best Buy employee told me Sonos was better. I've heard of Sonos, but was always told Bose is like the holy grail, don't get me wrong that is great, but when I compared sound, base and crispness to each other, the Sonos ultimately was favored by me. I use the Bose for my computer speaker, but man the two Sonos Moves I have now total sound excellent. You can pair them with each other to play the same song on both. Best part of all? Like the Bose Home speaker thing, it's portable, but even better since an firmware update it added an extra hour of portability increasing it to 10 hours to 11! 5+++stars

Great speakers
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great product. Very expensive - cost much more than what I wanted to spend on wireless speakers (I bought two). We have a fairly large house and yard. I have a few UA Megaboom 3’s. They worked fine for us in our backyard if it was just us, but if we were having a party and wanted to distribute the sound they did not fit the bill. Any time people walked in between them the signal would fail and the music would break up. With these attached to the WiFi, it is not a problem at all. Same issue when having a party inside. People walking between them disrupted the signal. Not an issue for these. For the product itself, these are large and heavy. A bit heavier than I would have wanted but it all translates into phenomenal sound. They fill the room are very clean and can produce great bass. Like all Sonos products, the sound is highly processed. You do lose some of the natural edge of the music. But the trade off is well worth it.

You get what you pay for...
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Went back and forth because of the price. Kept looking at the Megaboom 3. If your in the same spot, just buy it. The price is steep but the sound? Omg its amazing. I bite the bullet and its worth every penny. Setup is confusing. I just use it with bluetooth on an Ipod and sound is more than enough. Megaboom 3 isnt even in the same league in terms of sound quality. The online reviews talk about the size. Well the bigger it is the better the sound, bigger speakers..Battery life is pretty good. 8-10 hours 3/4 volume. It can be your only speaker in and around your house its that good. I used it outside all weekend and during the night inside. Plenty loud and the bass is nice and deep. Initial price is steep, but add the fact you get a nice dock charger others charge for, well you make the decision. No other portable speaker on the market compares. Not even close.

Sonos is nothing but the best
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a self proclaimed music connosiuer, Sonos has become a must have for me. This is my 8th speaker within my home, and works beautifully docked in an extra bedroom, until i transition it to my backyard to enjoy tunes pool side with 2 other Ones to immerse my backyard for parties. I wouldn't recommend it as the first Sonos speaker to buy unless you want something specifically/entirely that is mobile, but I think its a must have to complete a Sonos home. The only reason why i notched it down a level on Value is because it is expensive and I don't like how it doesn't have the capability to run on SonosNet, the Sonos mesh network, which if you're using it in a group of other Sonos speakers, limits its total distance from router, and may cause some playback issues, which I've experienced.

Amazing sound, little compromise
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first Sonos product but I have a feeling it won't be my last. This speaker sounds so much better than any portable speaker I've seen that I'd place it into a class by itself. Crisp, quality sound and that even holds up outside at a campfire or BBQ. The design is also quite sharp, high quality plastic with an innovative charging stand. The bluetooth / wifi settings make this usable anywhere. Downsides are that the large woofer giving you that clean bass makes this speaker seriously heavy (probably 7-8 pounds I'd guess). You aren't going to throw this in a backpack and forget about it. Battery life is also a little short of the claimed 10 hours. Minor issues aside, this is an A+ portable speaker. You get what you pay for in this case.

My go to audio device
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First and foremost, the sound quality of the Sonos Move is outstanding. The clarity and depth of the audio is truly impressive, delivering a rich and immersive listening experience. Whether I'm playing my favorite tunes or watching a movie, the sound fills the room and creates a captivating atmosphere. One of the standout features of the Sonos Move is its portability. The built-in battery allows me to take the speaker anywhere I want, whether it's in the backyard for a barbecue or camping. The battery life is excellent, providing hours of uninterrupted music playback. Additionally, the speaker is weather-resistant, so I don't have to worry about it getting damaged if there's a sudden rain shower and the i cluded bag is a bonus when traveling too. Setting up the Sonos Move was a breeze. The Sonos app guided me through the process, making it quick and hassle-free. I was able to connect the speaker to my Wi-Fi network effortlessly, and now I can control it from my phone or any other device with the app installed. The app itself is user-friendly and offers a wide range of customization options, allowing me to adjust the sound to my liking. The build quality of the Sonos Move is top-notch. It feels sturdy and well-made, and the sleek design adds a touch of elegance to any space. The speaker seamlessly blends into my home decor, and I appreciate the attention to detail in its construction. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my Sonos Move speaker. It delivers exceptional sound quality, offers portability and versatility, and is incredibly easy to set up and use. Whether you're a music enthusiast or simply looking to enhance your audio experience, I highly recommend the Sonos Move.

Awesome portable speaker
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this Move so I could use it in my garage. The sound quality is great and the battery last for a long time off of the charger. Set up was easy and straight forward just like the rest of the Sonos products. The best thing about the Move is that it has bluetooth, so I can still enjoy use of the Move without connected to my WiFi or the Sonos app. The Move is a bit on the heavy side but I feel this unit is not for carrying for long periods. Sonos has now introduced the Sonos Roam which I will definitely consider buying. The Roam is smaller, lighter, and you can take it on walks, hikes, bike rides, etc. So for those that find the Move a bit big and heavy looking, hold off for the Roam.

Worth the money, EASY to use.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to pair, easy to switch from wifi to bluetooth, and AMAZING sound. VERY easy to pair with other SONOS speakers. The bass is super powerful, without being overwhelming and booming. Provides very clear sound, like the larger SONOS speakers. As with all SONOS products, the SONOS app that fine tunes it is brilliant. Easy to make all kinds of changes. I almost forgot: the carrying handle is sleek in design to make it almost invisible... so don't miss using it. When you do, it is very comfortable to carry (this speaker is a bit hefty), due to its seamless yet smart design.

Best Portable Speaker
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I almost gave 4 stars due to price. However, after hours of listening to various name brand portable speakers, this Sonos Move is clearly the best soundings. The one critique I have heard, other than the expense, is that it is large and not really very portable. This has not been an issue for me at all. So far I have used around the house and the backyard as well as the front of my house without any issue at all. I can see easily taking with me to the park during the summer. I likely won't carry with me on a hike where I do think it would be a bit large. I like being able to switch easily between bluetooth and internet and I also like being able to use Alexa (or google assistant if you prefer). Great product, I highly recommend.

Love this thing
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pro’s: Fantastic sound, good build quality, good battery life, ability to work with existing Sonos system or independently via Bluetooth. Con’s are expensive and you have to set it up through the Sonos system before it can be used as it’s own Bluetooth. In my case it works well as I have a Sonos system though the house, but I can move these around to outside or the garage as needed.

Great flexible weather resistant speaker
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have used this for a year of mixed use both integrated in our basement and on our back patio with wifi and as a bluetooth paired speaker at Penn State tailgates. Overall, the sound reproduction is very clear with well-articulated voice and treble even with ambient noise but it also has excellent mid and low frequency sound reproduction. At tailgates the battery on high volume tends to last approximately 7 hours and at lower volumes for indoor use I havwnt had the battery life become an issue. Very satisfied with this purchase. Recently had it damaged at a tailgate and exchanged it with Best Buy for a full refund because they didn’t have it in store and although I could’ve taken the cash for a different type of purchase, I bought the same item again. My only critique is that it’s difficult to tell if you have switched to speaker into Bluetooth mode or back into wifi mode. Also, we bought the hanger for our recreational area near our pool table and sometimes when placing it onto the mount it hits the Wi-Fi/Bluetooth transition button and screws everything up.

Sonos Move = Beach Bliss
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have eight indoor Sonos speakers and have been delighted with the perfect sound that they have delivered for years (my oldest must be at least 7 years old)....never a problem. We recently purchased a house on the beach and I wanted a mobile speaker that we could Bluetooth to while enjoying the sun and water. There were other brands that came with a much lower price tag, but knowing the quality of the sound and the "built like a tank" nature of Sonos products, I went with the Sonos Move. NO REGRETS. It is kinda heavy, but that lets me know that it is sturdy and can take any small bumps and minor jars. The battery life has never been a problem. It says ten hours. I have never "tested" it for that long, but I know we have been at the beach for 7-8 hours playing the Move constantly and no problems. The sound is amazing....as usual for a Sonos speaker. Out on the beach with small or large waves coming in, the sound is loud and fabulous. I bought a carry case for it to protect it during transport to and from the beach....$40 = worth it. I bought white Move to minimize sun absorption. When you return to the house/condo, the Move can continue to be used as Bluetooth or you can switch it to be used via the Sonos app. Either way, your phone controls it when stationary inside or on the "Move". LOVE my Sonos Move!!

Great sounding mobile speaker, but pricey
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great sounding, versatile speaker with Blu-tooth capability (believe it’s the only Sonos product with that absent maybe the soundbars), and mobility design (operates off a charging base that is plugged in, but the speaker can be taken off it). Auto-tune function is automatic so you do not have to re-synch it with the app/phone every time it’s moved, unlike other Sonos speakers. Bass not as dramatic as the HomePod but more natural sounding. Main drawback is the price...especially if you want to pair it with another Sonos, as you will not get true stereo pairing with the less expensive Sonos One, you would have to purchase another Sonos Move. But if you have the budget, or are happy with relying on the device as your chosen streaming speaker without a concern about stereo pairing, then you will be happy with it.

great sounding portable speaker
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great sounding speaker. Its plenty loud, with a good bass response and the battery lasts for hours. Connecting to bluetooth is reliable. Only criticism is that to create stereo pair, you need another MOVE (portable)- you cannot use the MOVE with a SONOS ONE SL. Thats frustrating!

Sonos creates an excellent speaker again
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve purchased several of their products over the years. I’ve always been impressed with their design and build quality. Finally they’ve released a speaker with Bluetooth capability and it is battery powered. This device is not for everyone in my option. It is for the person who appreciates portability, sound quality and ease of use and is not apprehensive about spending a few dollars more for it. I would say the only improvement would be to reduce the overall weight of the device.

Love my speaker
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this Sonos speaker. It has a full, clean sound that fills the space. It's portable and works great with both home wi-fi and Bluetooth from my phone when outdoors (nice for picnics). The speaker is super easy to set up and it goes well with my decor. The white is not a bright white, but a very, very, light gray which is perfect since it doesn't stick out as the brightest thing in the room.

Great sound
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice unit, but price is a little much. I already own a Playbar, Sub, and two Play 5s. Connected easily to my system, and I like the Bluetooth feature too. Just don't like that I have to manually switch from WiFi to Bluetooth on the speaker. I take it in the garage when I'm working out or the backyard when I'm grilling, or the bedroom when I'm showering or just hanging out. Bass is impressive for such a small unit.

Great product!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been wanting the sonos move for a while. I have tried various portable speakers from Bose, JBL, ultiante ears boom…and none of them compared to the Move. Excellent bass, clear vocals, and many options when it comes to playing content whether youre connecting to Bluetooth, playing directly from the sonos app, or streamijg via airplay 2. It is a little bulky, but the portability and battery life clearly make up for it. I have a sonos Roam and while it is in a different class, it is a far superior speaker. Truplay makes it sound better anywhere I’m at. Worth the price. I know Sonos is making the next gen Move that’s supposed to be released sometime this year, so if you’re willing to wait for the next gen product, then it may benefit you to wait. However, you won’t be disappointed with this generation.

Just buy it
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I figured for the price, the audio better be pretty spectacular. Well... it didn't disappoint. This review is based on about 4 hours of use, inside only, so its based solely on audio quality and ease of use. Both are 5 out of 5! The clarity is amazing, bass is extremely impressive. At 1st I was surprised by the size (its on the larger side), but the audio is way bigger than I expected.
