I wanted some outdoor sound for my lake house but sus t want the expense or complexity of wiring up speakers and an amp, and I enjoy the Sonos ecosystem. I found this open box on a good discount and took the plunge. We affectionately call it the toe killer as my wife dropped it on her toe and got a compound fracture requiring a lengthy recovery. So it’s beefy and the sound is good. I haven’t stressed the battery life yet and I wish it was easier to move it between Sonos systems as I have one in each house, but a factory reset isn’t overly complicated. I haven’t tested the range as I use it near the house, but I’ve had no issues with WiFi drops or breakups so far.

While the speaker is a bit heavy, it is still a bonafide Sonos product built with some of the best technology out there. The sound and everything it offers to deliver on is amazing and the fact that it works like 2 smart-speakers in one is a definite PLUS! So far, I am very satisfied with this purchase and would recommend it to sound-lovers who would like to enjoy some great quality sound.

I have several Sonos speakers and like them for sounds quality. I was pleased to purchase Sonos Move after making decisions between it and Bose Portable Home Speaker which I could received 15 % discount because of GM partnership. I still chose Move because of style and it’s durability. Since I am outside working on summer project I had chances to test my new Move. I was enjoying listening to it for maybe 3 hours it cut off. I check Sonos app and it indicated low battery. I placed it on overnight charge because I still had outside work. The next day the Move repeats short battery life! I return it back to Best Buy and was thinking if I should go with Bose instead but chose too replace Move and give it a second chance since I was pleased with speaker. I am waiting for replacement and hoping it will live up to the 11 hours playing time!

Overall very good quality and bass, on top of size and being able to use wifi or Bluetooth!

I have been a Sonos customer for 8 years and have had zero problems with their products. So far, the Sonos Move lives up to the quality of sound, tech, software, and construction I have come to expect from Sonos. The only lingering question mark is the battery life. Time will tell. It's a pricey speaker, but it is on par with competitors, so it's hard to complain about that. I am very happy with this purchase.
